Newsie
2NE1's second studio album, "Crush," is finally out! YG Entertainment released "Crush" through online music portals, such as Naver Music and iTunes, on February 27 at 12:00 AM KST. The first title track off "Crush," “Come Back Home,” was produced by YG’s main producer Teddy, PK and DEE.P, and received praise for its unique mix of genres (reggae, electronica and hip hop) and addictive melody. The album also contains an unplugged version of the song, which YG has stated, sounds like an entirely different track. “Gotta Be You,” the album’s second title track, was co-produced by Teddy and PK, and was commended for being accessible to the mass public. The album also contains three songs written and composed by CL, “Crush,” “If I Were You” ("Hope to Live") and “Baby I Miss You,” while BIGBANG's G-Dragon contributed lyrics to the track "Good to You." "Crush" retains the distinctive sound of 2NE1, yet attempts to take their music in new directions. Listeners will find that themselves with a wide variety of songs and genres to choose from. 2NE1 will be kicking off their "All or Nothing" World Tour this weekend on March 1 and 2 in Seoul. Their second album “Crush” will be available offline from March 7. Look out for more 2NE1 comeback updates!View the full article
