Actor Kang Dong Ho Is Enlisting for Active Duty in March

Actor Kang Dong Ho is headed to the military. The actor recently wrapped up filming for the film “One Day, The First Love Invaded Me,” starring Lee Chung Ah, and he also just recently finished the musical “Wedding Singer.” 

On February 25, an official at his agency said to Newsen, “It is correct that Kang Dong Ho is enlisting in the army. On March 18, he will be enlisting for active duty.”

That the actor signed up for active duty, instead of the popular unit among celebrities-the Seoul Police Special Promotions Unit, leaving quite the impression. The official said, “As celebrities joining the Police Special Promotions Unit is often not seen favorably, he decided on active duty.” Kang Dong Ho’s service end date will be around December 2015. Until his enlistment date, the actor will be taking some time off, spending time with friends and family, and preparing for his enlistment.
