Girl group Girls’ Generation was captured on camera doing some self-promotion for their new album, which was released on February 24.

The girls gathered outside the main SM Entertainment building in Apgujeong on February 25, where they spray painted the building’s walls with their signatures and also took the opportunity to promote their 4th mini-album “Mr.Mr.”

Usually covered by pictures of SM artists, the walls had recently been stripped to make room for new promotional material, but for now they remained bare. Girls’ Generation passed by the building in the course of their day’s schedule, and stopped by to paint the walls. They were captured on camera by passersby and fans, who quickly spread the pictures through various SNS channels.

Aside from their music and first comeback stage, information about “Mr.Mr” has been relatively scarce, so Girls’ Generation’s self-promotional method naturally attracted much attention. Their informal way of leaving signatures and small traces of their presence was warmly received by fans.

“Mr.Mr” is currently doing well on the charts, topping multiple music charts and achieving an all-kill on the day of its release. Girls’ Generation will have their “Mr.Mr” comeback stage on Mnet’s “M! Countdown” on March 6. Meanwhile, the album will be available for sale offline from February 27, but the most pressing issue of when the “Mr.Mr” music video will be released has yet to be revealed.
