Former Soccer Player Hwang Sun Hong’s Daughter to Debut in a Girl Group

Talk about a talented family! Former Soccer player Hwang Sung Hong’s daughter, Hwang Hyun Jin, will debut in a girl group this coming April.

Hwang Hyun Jin will debut under Kiroy Y Group, a company known to produce hit songs such as Jo Sung Mo’s “Undying Love,” and Ivy’s “Fool.” A representative of Kiroy Y group commented, “Hwang Hyun Jin has prepared for two years without a break. Except the five hours of sleep, the future singer has completed her busy schedules and has been fruitful in all her activities. The upcoming debut group will show a diverse mix of character, and will also show their creative concept.”

In regards to her debut album, Hwang Hyun Jin said, “As much as I have prepared for the debut album, I am filled with a mix of excitement and worry. My father is a soccer star, I am a music star.” Former soccer player Hwang Sun Hong was a part of Korea’s famous 2002 World Cup team. Currently, he is active as the head coach of Pohang Steelers.
