Newsie
Girl group GP BASIC is making a eye-popping comeback with an image concept that's markedly different than that of their peers. GP BASIC released the second teaser for their upcoming single, “Pika Burn-juck” on February 5 after releasing their first teaser the day before. In the teaser clip, the girls are wearing school uniforms reminiscent of the 1980’s, while bringing powerful rapping and dance moves to the table. The sound of “Pika Burn-juck” is said to have been inspired by the "trap hip-hop" music genre, a currently hot music trend. GP BASIC’s agency also stated, “In the last two years, the members have endured tough training and practice to show a more mature and different performance. You can look forward to it.” The music video for “Pika Burn-juck” will be released on February 6 KST, and the digital track version will be available on the same day through various music sites.
