Top MCs Kang Ho Dong, Shin Dong Yup and Lee Kyung Kyu to Host a Show Together?

It seems like SBS’ “K-Pop Star 3” will have an interesting show take its place in April.

Apparently, the show that will follow after “K-Pop Star 3’s” conclusion will feature MCs Kang Ho Dong, Shin Dong Yup, and Lee Kyung Kyu. The show will be produced by Park Sang Hyuk, the PD for the past variety show, “Strong Heart.”

Having the top three MCs host a variety show is the result of pressure towards the Sunday night variety show corner. With fierce competition from both MBC and KBS, SBS’ Sunday night variety shows have been struggling in the ratings. With Park PD’s collaboration with the three MCs, the SBS variety show looks to battle with MBC’s “Daddy Where are we Going?” and KBS2TV’s “Superman Returns.”

Whatever the plans may be for the SBS variety show, just hearing that Kang Ho Dong, Shin Dong Yup, and Lee Kyung Kyu might host a show together makes us anticipate the new variety show.
