SM Denies Dating Rumors Between SHINee’s Jonghyun and Actress Lee Yoo Bi

Earlier today a report surfaced claiming that SHINee’s Jonghyun and actress Lee Yoo Bi had recently begun dating. However, the singer’s agency, SM Entertainment, made their official response to the dating rumors.

On the morning of January 29, SM Entertainment commented to Xports News, “The dating rumors are not true. Both Jonghyun and Lee Yoo Bi are part of the gathering group for celebrities born in 1990. The two simply met while with the other members of the groups.”

SM Entertainment’s clarification refutes the Sports Seoul report that claimed the singer and the actress had recently begun dating. The official report by the entertainment agency will help put the fans at ease regarding the dating rumors.

SHINee’s Jonghyun is the third SM Entertainment singer to be surrounded by a dating scandal this year, following Girls’ Generation’s YoonA and Sooyoung, the latter two which were revealed to be true.
