Newsie
tvN's daily sitcom "Potato Star" won't be airing this Thursday, but luckily for all viewers, the production team has prepared a special episode instead. On January 28, tvN revealed, "Potato Star will not air on January 30 for the Lunar New Year holiday." However, a three-part special episode featuring highlights of the sitcom will air in its stead, giving the fans a chance to relive the past few months. In addition, PD Na Young Suk, who is the mastermind behind "Grandpas Over Flowers," will make fun a cameo appearance in the sitcom. The producers commented, "Na PD will enter as an unexpected character, and can be expected to evoke a lot of laughter. Please wait to see which role he has taken on, and how he will act." The episode will air on February 3. "Potato Star" has been airing since September every Monday to Thursday at 8.50pm (KST). Correction: We originally reported that Potato Star was ending on January 30, when it is in fact taking a break from broadcast for the Lunar New Year Holiday. Apologies for any confusion caused.View the full article
