Actress Goo Hye Sun Cast as "Heo Nanseolheon" in New Documentary

Actress Goo Hye Sun has been cast for a 2-part special MBC documentary on famous female poet, “Heo Nanseolheon.” 

YG Entertainment confirmed on January 24, “Goo Hye Sun will be starring in a MBC documentary as the lead female character, Heo Nanseolheon.” 

Not only has Goo Hye Sun taken upon the role of narrating the documentary, but has also participated in directing it as well. In particular, she has been given the reins on how to direct the first part of the documentary itself. 

The staff has been conducting historical research to accurately portray the kind of woman Heo Nanseolheon was and how she was perceived back in the Joseon dynasty. Goo Hye Sun has done her own fair share of research, even traveling to Bremen, Germany.
