Rain and Tae Jin Ah to Have Collaboration Stages on Weekend Music Programs

K-Pop icon and worldwide celebrity Rain and trot singer Tae Jin Ah will be showing their special collaboration stages on this weekend music programs. The unlikely pair will team up to perform as part of concluding Rain’s music activities for his recent album “Rain Effect.”

Recently, a fanmade video that combined both Rain’s “La Song” with Tae Jin Ah’s 2004 song “Companion” became a hit around the internet. The video, which called the two singers “Bi Jin Ah” had actually managed to catch the pair’s attention. Rain had posted on his Twitter, “I also really like Tae Jin Ah. If you want, we could do a collaboration…” Although the comment seemed like just a suggestion, the trot singer said in his recent interview with Daily Sports News, “I know the popularity of the video that edited my song and Rain’s song, so I am happy to do a collaboration whenever he asks,” which made the collaborative stage even more possible.

 As if the K-Pop music gods heard fans’ wishes, Rain and Tae Jin Ah were able to settle on the dates for the collaboration stage despite the singers’ conflicting schedules. One representative commented, “They were able to form the collaboration stage with an upbeat attitude. People can expect a different side of Rain as he performs 'La Song' with Tae Jin Ah.”
