Actress Lee Yu Bi, most recently from the 2013 MBC drama "Gu Family Book,"  will be stepping up as a new MC of SBS' weekly music program, "Inkigayo," as previous MCs, actor Lee Hyun Woo and Girl's Day's Minah, step down.

Lee Yu Bi has previously shown her skill as a host through the 2013 Melon Music Awards. With her new position as "Inkigayo's" MC, she will be working alongside incumbent, ZE:A's Kwang Hee.

Girl's Day's Minah commented about her departure from "Inkigayo" through her agency, "I was happy to be with the viewers through 'Inkigayo.' It was the most happiest period. For the time being, I will be focusing on Girl's Day's new track and Japan promotions. I am also planning on acting so it promises to be busy."

Minah concluded, "Being an 'Inkigayo' MC was a good experience, and I learned a lot. I am thankful for the love I received."

It is yet undecided who will be joining Lee Yu Bi and Kwang Hee as the third MC of "Inkigayo." She will be the new MC of "Inkigayo" starting February 2.
