SHINee’s Jonghyun to be a DJ for His Own Radio Show

Get ready to tune in every night to hear the voice of SHINee’s Jonghyun, as the singer will officially become the DJ for his own radio show!

It was announced on January 23 that the singer will officially become the DJ for MBC’s FM4U radio show, “Green Night.” Jonghyun will be taking over for Brown Eyed Soul’s Jung Yup, who will be leaving to focus on his music career. A representative of MBC radio stated, “We have always watched how Jonghyun worked seriously on his music career. As a musician who has energy for music, we believe that he will carry on the radio program well.”

Within seven years of his debut as a part of SHINee, Jonghyun has been active not only in singing, but also producing music. Besides the SHINee songs such as, “Time is Late,” “Lovesick,” “Selene 6.23” and “Better Off,” Jonghyun has also created other singers’ songs such as IU’s “Depressed Clock,” and Son Dam Bi’s “Red Candle.” Moreover, Jonghyun displayed his great interest in music by recently becoming a member of the KBS pilot variety show, “Music Show,” alongside musical geniuses Yoon Jong Shin, Yoo Hee Yeol, and Lee Juck.”

Jonghyun will be replacing Brown Eyed Soul’s Jung Yup who has served as “Green Night’s” DJ for the last 40 months. The SHINee vocalist will start his DJ duties starting from February 2.
