Teen Top’s Niel and ZE:A’s Dong Joon Cast for SBS’ New Pilot Variety Program

Previews of Kim Byung Man’s new pilot variety program on SBS, “Shaolin Fist,” has been revealed showing clips of the members demonstrating their martial arts skills.

On January 21, SBS uploaded teasers of “Shaolin Fist” on YouTube featuring cast members Kim Byung Man, ZE:A’s Dong Joon, Jang Woo Hyuk, Rose Motel’s Yook Joong Wan, and Teen Top’s Niel. The three videos show clips of some of the members learning martial arts from masters at the Shaolin Temple.

Dong Joon, who is nicknamed “athletic idol,” gained favorable results at MBC’s “Idol Athletic Championships.” In the teaser, he is seen struggling while practicing various martial art moves. Although he trained with a smile, he was surprised by the skills of young masters. 

Niel also showed signs of struggle. Nevertheless, he displays his ability to learn new movements as he demonstrates moves using a stick.

“Shaolin Fist” will be showing the five cast members’ journey to the Shaolin Temple located in the Henan Province of China to learn martial arts.

“Shaolin Fist” will air on January 30 as a Lunar New Year special on SBS.
