The cast of "Infinity Challenge" will head for Brazil to attend the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

A representative of MBC revealed on January 17, "'Infinity Challenge' team will travel to Brazil, where the 2014 World Cup is held, to cheer on the national football team of Korea."

The world's leading football event will take place from June to July. The Korean team will have their first match on June 18, when they are scheduled to face the Russian team. On June 23, they will go head-to-head with Algeria, and their last match will be against Belgium on June 27.

Due to scheduling difficulties, the popular variety show was unable to attend the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. The next big sports event will be the 2014 Incheon Asian Games held in September, but so far, nothing has been discussed or confirmed.

Last fall, the cast split into two teams to join the cheering teams of Korea's leading rival universities, Yonsei University and Korea University. The project attracted great interest from the public, and the show has since pursued a plan titled "Infinity Challenge Cheering Team."
