Recommended Posts

SM Entertainment's award streak began in in 2008 when TVXQ won the Disk Daesang for their album "Mirotic." Super Junior then won the award in 2009 with their album "Sorry," and then Girls' Generation took the award in 2010 with "Oh!" Super Junior then took the awards in 2011 and 2012 with their albums "Mr. Simple" and "Sexy, Free and Single."

What can explain SM Entertainment's great success at the Golden Disk Awards? A representative from the agency said, "Generally, the music and performance receive a lot of love, but the contents are the most important. So we try to increase the value of our albums."
