Wed-Thurs Drama Ratings Battle: How Did the Premiere of “Age of Feeling” Do?

The first episode of KBS’ “Age of Feelings” seems to have caused a shift in rankings for Wednesday and Thursday night drama ratings.

On January 15, “Age of Feelings” aired its first episode, and it recorded a rating of 7.8%. With hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong showing his tough and charismatic fighting skills, the new KBS drama can expect to garner more fans. With two years of planning and about 14.1 million USD invested to the drama production, “Age of Feeling” plans to showcase many talented actors through its interesting story plot.

However, the KBS drama could not beat the widely popular SBS drama that aired during the same time slot. SBS’ “Man from the Stars’” episode 9 brought in a viewership rating of 23.1%, solidifying its large number of viewers.

On the other hand, although MBC’s “Miss Korea” had maintained second place in ratings during the same time slot, viewership declined as January 15’s episode 10 brought in a rating of 6.8%.

Ranking in second place in viewership for its first episode seems to be a great start for KBS’ “Age of Feelings.” Tune in to watch the drama as it airs every Wednesday and Thursday nights at 10PM (KST).
