Hwanhee and Brian in Discussion for a Fly to the Sky Reunion

Recommended Posts

As reports surfaced that R&B duo Fly to the Sky (Hwanhee, Brian) is reuniting after five years, Hwanhee has come out to clarifiy that nothing is confirmed; things are currently in discussion.

According local news source Sports Donga, Hwanhee and Brian are working on a new album together as Fly to the Sky, projected to release sometime in February or March. However, Hwanhee has rebutted through his agency about this claims, saying, "The two are positively reviewing a reunion under the desire to sing for their fans again together."

Fly to the Sky debuted in 1999 with a self-titled album and titled track, “Day by Day.” It gained many fans through their multiple hits including, “Missing You,” “Like a Man,” and “Gravity. The group released its eighth album in 2009 titled “Decennium,” and decided to focus on their individual careers.  At the time, Fly to the Sky explained, “We are not disbanding; it’s in order to focus on our individual careers.”

Although Hwanhee and Brian promoted with separate labels, they agreed “If the right time comes, we believe the reunion will come naturally.” Since Hwanhee was discharged from the military last October and since Brian was not signed with a label, they decided on a reunion. They attended the premiere of “Friend 2” last November just two months after Hwanhee’s discharge.
