The last episode of the “Lonely Friends” special on MBC’s “Infinity Challenge” aired on December 28.

During the episode, the “Infinity Challenge” cast members and their guests held an auction for their most cherished items. Gil who brought a set of spoons and chopsticks and set it’s starting price at 300,000 won ($285). No one made an offer on his item, and Gil was forced to rebuy his item at the same price.

Perhaps due to this shock, Gil began to participate aggressively in the auction. When Jin Goo’s item appeared for the auction, the ladies on the show began competing to make the winning bid. Gil suddenly made an offer for 1 million won ($949), and Yoo Jae Suk immediately closed the bidding. Jin Goo’s treasured item was a couple ring set. Then, Narsha’s item was auctioned to which Gil also bid 1 million won. Again, Yoo Jae Suk closed the bid making Gil the winning bidder. Gil was baffled that he bought a bottle of liquor for 1 million won.

Comedian Ji Sang Ryul was also a high bidder on the show. He bought the dog food he put out for auction for 220,000 won ($209), and he also bought No Hong Chul’s rainbow mirror ball for 305,000 won ($289). He also bought Big Bang’s Daesung’s toy helicopter for 750,000 won ($711). Ji Sang Ryul’s active participation in the auction made the stars on the show worry.

The money collected from the auction in this episode will be donated to charity.

Meanwhile, “Infinity Challenge” welcomed Girls’ Generation’s Sunny, Big Bang’s Dae Sung, Shin Sung Woo, Jin Goo, Ryu Seung Soo, Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha, Kim Young Chul, Kim Na Young, An Young Mi, Park Hwee Soon, Yang Pyung Hyung, Ji Sang Ryul, and Jo Se Ho on it’s “Lonely Friends” special.
