IU Thanks Fans for a Perfect All-Kill on Music Charts

On December 22, singer and actress IU posted a message titled, “Wow, how long as it been!” to her fans on her official fan café along with recent photos. 

In the message, IU wrote, “Christmas is coming soon, but I don’t think I will be able to write a message then, so here’s a surprise hello while I have some time~”

“Everyone, thank you for your support for my new song ‘Friday.’ I will try more to write better songs. It feels different to receive love through a song I wrote myself! It feels as if I am being love not just for my voice, but also for my thoughts, my emotions and feelings.” IU thanked her fans, for her new-released track, “Friday,” swept music charts moments after is release.

IU concluded the message by writing, “Let’s not get too excited as the year’s end approaches and end the year calmly~!”

The title track for IU’s repackage album, “Friday” achieve a perfect all-kill topping various online music charts. This is IU’s fifth time achieving the record of all-kill breaking her previous record earned through her songs “Nagging,” “Good Day,” “You & I,” and “Red Shoes.”

The offline version of “Modern Times – Epilogue” will be available in stores on December 26.
