On December 10, J-Walk (Jang Su Won, Kim Jae Duk) appeared on QTV’s “Handsome Boy Communication” and talked about their Sechs Kies days with the show’s MC Eun Ji Won, who was also a former member.

Also on the show was Rainbow’s Jisook and Jaekyung. They are currently signed under DSP, the same company which Sechs Kies’ was signed under.

Jaekyung revealed, “The president said ‘Sechs Kies members are loyal that they worked without a contract for a few years'.”

Kim Jae Duk remarked, “There was no contract. We trusted the company and took what they gave us,” confirming the group was not signed under a contract.

Jaekyung asked bluntly, “Why didn’t you renew your contract?” which Jang Su Won answered jokingly saying, “The company didn’t want us.”

Eun Ji Won, who was the leader of  Sechs Kies, said, “We decided to break up without discussing resigning. I think the company is partly responsible. Our album sold 500,000 copies, but we felt discouraged when the company told us we failed. We thought it would be better to disband while we were still at our prime.”

Meanwhile, MC Moon Hee Jun, a former member of H.O.T., revealed making the decision to bring the group back together is not so easy because it may damage their image as legendary figures in K-Pop.
