Mnet's “M! Countdown” Will Be Cancelled for Two Weeks Due to “2013 MAMA”

Mnet’s “M! Countdown” will not be airing for two weeks.

On November 21, a rep from Mnet announced in an interview, “The show scheduled to air on November 21 and 28 will be cancelled,” and added, “Most of the production staff left for Hong Kong for ‘MAMA.’ Every year, the show was cancelled for two weeks for the event.”

On November 21, highlights from “2012 MAMA” will replace “M! Countdown.” It is yet undecided what will be aired in place of the show on November 28.

The “2013 MAMA” will be held on November 22 at the Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena. Many artists will perform at its stage including Trouble Maker, EXO, Sistar, Lee Seo Jin, Lee Seung Gi. Moreover, Rain will make his comeback, and Sistar’s Hyorin will sing a duet with Stevie Wonder.
