4 Minute’s Kwon So Hyun Wins a Medal for Archery

On October 26, Kwon So Hyun of girl group 4 Minute won the silver medal at the “2013 Archery Club Competition with Medalists.”

The competition took place at the Incheon Asiad Archery Field. Kwon So Hyun competed against many archery club members scoring 322 out of 360, placing second overall.

She tweeted, “Archery is hard but fun. I fell in love with archery once again,” and uploaded a photo collage of herself pulling the bowstring and showing off her silver medal.

Kwon So Hyun, who had an interest in archery, demonstrated her skills at MBC’s “2013 Idol Star Athletics Championship” back in February of this year playing a significant role in helping 4 Minute win second place. 

According to a representative from her agency, Kwon So Hyun began enjoying archery when she began training for the “2013 Idol Star Athletics Championship” under the coaching of a member of Korea’s national team.

Kwon So Hyun stated, “I began learning archery for the ‘Idol Star Athletics Championship,’ but I didn’t want to quit after the show, so I entered the competition per my coach’s recommendation. I feel proud and happy about the good results.”
