KBS Describes Rumors of "1 Night 2 Days" Cancellation Completely Untrue

The television network KBS has responded to rumors of the cancellation of its Sunday variety show "1 Night 2 Days." There were previously reports that the show is on the table for consideration of its cancellation come the seasonal restructuring of KBS television programming. 

KBS officially stated on its website, "The cancellation rumor is an absolute falsehood that has no foundation in truth. '1 Night 2 Days' has received a lot of love from viewers as KBS' representative variety show for the past six years since its first broadcast in 2007. KBS and the show's production team will work hard to make '1 Night 2 Days' more fun and edifying than before."

"1 Night 2 Days," which once recorded steady high ratings in the 20s, has faltered in the past few months, hitting rating in the 10s. Its most recent episode aired August 4 recorded 10.7%.
