E011 Recap (not exactly in order of the scenes)

The ep starts off where it ended on Friday -- OJM discovers mama boy husband secretly on the phone in the middle of the night.
Knowing how the wife is so not terribly fond of his boy friend Charles, he lies that a friend's father had died.
That makes it 2 husbands lying that an acquaintance's father has died (Prof Yun being the first).
In any case, mama boy ended up screaming for mummy dearest to come rescue him from the wife's questioning.

The situation with the money for the Magic Hair Salon couple is this --

(‌1) YJY had loaned OJM KRW 50M (around US$ 44,819) when they opened Magic Hair salon
(2) Mama boy loaned Charles KRW 40M (around US$ 35,856) for his new restaurant franchise business. The sum is to be repaid in 3 months
(3) Furthermore, mama boy had blown KRW 10M (around US$ 8,964) gambling on horses behind his wife's back.
(4) There's only KRW 2 M (around US$ 1,793) left in their bank account, but mama boy had lied to the wife when she asked that they had KRW 10 M left.

As you can see, mama boy is in BIG trouble.
OJM had wanted to go to the bank to withdraw the money on her way to work and asked him for the account book.
He managed to buy some time by telling her he'll bring it down when he comes to the salon, after he has a talk with mummy dearest.
After the wife leaves, he starts buttering up mummy with a back massage, complimenting her on how great her figure is.
He actually told her she has the waist of an ANT.
And how plump and cute she is, saying her nickname when young must have been 'angel' or 'nymph'. Yikes!
Unfortunately for him, mummy dearest only has KRW 200K (around US$180) to her name, so his butt is still toast.

Charles Jeong showed up at the salon, but tells him he's already spent all the money.
Meanwhile, the wife OJM had gone to YJY's home to tell her she's repaying the KRW 50M.
Mama boy finally gets busted and has to finally come clean with the wife.
And that was when she found out that other than the loan to Charles, mama boy had blown KRW 10M gambling on horses.
This was what made her give him that flying kick, because, since before they got married, he had a habit of gambling on horses
and effectively lost over KRW 1 billion (around US$ 896, 380) of their money. He had promised her not to do it ever again.
So OJM is VERY upset.

In the end, when OJM received a call from Hercules and drops in at her home, she asks her for a loan (the KRW 50M),
claiming that she suddenly needed to repay a loan but the husband had spent the money, and she'll repay her in 3 months' time.
Hercules is fine with it, as she herself said, KRW 50M is "chewing gum money" to her.
BUT, there's a condition -- OJM has to sever relations with YJY.

As for the Fried Chicken Store man who was nearly bashed to death by YJY 20 years ago,
we get a flashback and see that he had a crush on her back then.
The older man who was beating him was his father. He had asked his father to send him to university and received a beating instead.
In any case, Na Gwang Su was muttering to himself that YJY had thrown him into a ditch and behaved like nothing had happened,
eating and living well all these years. So it looks like he might want revenge.

Hercules' mom had called the sister (Jo Su Jeong) to show her face at her eonni's new place pronto and texted her the address,
which freaked out the Prof's TA mistress when she realised that it's just next door to the Prof's unit.
Something interesting here, the mom calls her "Gyeong Ja" rather than Su Jeong.

Han Gi Cheol is receiving golf lessons from Bang Se Ri as he doesn't know how to play and she offered to teach him.
(In real life, LJW's golf handicap is very low).

thanks for your write up. the mama's boy and his mother and the prof's are getting on my nerves. poor ojm, she has to deal with these 2. 

the man's reaction (na gwang su) upon learning that the 2 girls are actually living next to each other is so funny. it appears jky and her sister are not in good terms. hmmmm, wonder why?

E012 Recap

The start is a continuation of the scene where Hercules agreed to lend KRW 50M to OJM on the condition that she sever ties with YJY.
OMJ flatly refused to do that and would rather not borrow any $$$.
But, she starts going all cute on Hercules in a last bid only to let slip that if she doesn't repay YJY, YJY will be in trouble
Hercules realises that it's to help her sworn enemy YJY & refuses to help.
OMJ begs her, stressing that Hercules is lending to HER, not YJY, but to no avail.
Before she leaves, OMJ says to Hercules that the 3 of them are former schoolmates,
when friends are in need, they should help (for old times sake).

Meanwhile, Daddy Yoo tries to find a job but the companies he called all rejected him the moment they heard his age.
He was trying to get a job as a driver (taxi company, as well as a transport company).
YJY made her daughter Ha Na promise not to mention the loansharks to anyone.
Just then Prof Yun finally returns home and of all things, the daughter asks him if he has seen her ex-tutor. Ha Na misses her.
Prof Yun repeats his lie about the funeral wake, even commenting that there have been a few wakes these days,
only for the wife to retort, "How many people are you going to have die in future?"
YJY verifies with her husband if he had ended things with the TA mistress, but he continues to deny that they were in any sort of relationship.
She pursues the matter by asking which professor's father had died and the husband gets irritated and tells another lie,
throwing out some professor's name.
Anyway, when he went off to wash up, his cellphone rings and it shows "Dean Jo" (that's his code for the mistress).
Obviously, when the caller hangs up when YJY answers it, she gets suspicious as the last name for the 'dean' is the same as that of the mistress.

Hercules' mom, Hong Geum Suk calls the younger sis and gets her to visit + a family dinner,
so the woman has to sneak up to her eonni's home, even taking the lift a floor higher (8th floor)
then going down by the stairs, narrowly avoiding YJY who just came out.

TA mistress offends her Hercules eonni the moment she sees her by saying that she's grown fatter since she last saw her.
Hercules wasn't terribly welcoming and the sister tries to leave ASAP, but the mom tries to make her stay for dinner.
TA gives the excuse that she has just moved house and has to unpack her stuff.
Hercules goes all sarcastic and immediately asks her if the brother-in-law (Han Gi Cheol) had given her $$$,
she can't believe her sister has that kind of money, and they end up quarrelling.
By the time TA leaves in tears, the argument had developed to the point of digging up the past.
TA doesn't understand why Hercules has always hated her, and on the part of Hercules,
she feels that the sister has always looked down on her, the mom, and the entire family.
Still, Hercules had paid for her sister's school fees for the sake of her mom as
it's the dream of a "makgeolli place widow" that the smart daughter succeed.
Hercules ends up telling the sister to repay the $$$ with interest after she makes it big with that oh-so-clever brain of hers.
After TA marches off, the mom is very upset and tells Hercules off for treating her only sister like that,
but Hercules isn't even sure if she's her real sister, as the kid was just suddenly there when she returned home 1 day,
with her mom telling her that's her sis and they're all going to live together.
 
To pacify his angry wife, OJM, mama boy offers to sell his body for $$$ if Charles Jeong doesn't repay the loan after 3 months. LOL
His mummy butts in and tells off her D-I-L that she shouldn't treat her husband like that (the flying kick) even though he's younger
and likens a husband to the sky, only for the DIL to retort that mama boy is like the sky alright,
a cloudy sky every day, raining, with thunder and lightning. LOL
The MIL then brings up the fact that her son's not that bad a husband, having helped the OJM's younger sister law studies.
When mama boy tells Mum off, she screams at him for gambling on horses and being so stupid as to lose,
ending up being nagged by the wife, only for her darling boy to scream back at her that she herself lost money on stocks and shares. LOL
The fight only broke up when their fried chicken order arrived.

Meanwhile, at the Hans' home, the mother-in-law is missing from the dining table as she's in no mood for dinner.
That Han Gi Cheol's quite a generous husband. He knew that the sis-in-law had dropped in earlier and was wondering why she didn't stay for dinner.
In any case, he told Hercules that if the SIL needs money, she should help her out financially,
he then even got up to go see how the MIL is doing, but Hercules tells him she'll go herself, and mom and daughter end up arguing again over the sister.
In the end, Hercules has no choice but to promise to go to the sis' new home for a visit to get her mom to have dinner.

At the dinner table, HGC sees the MIL sniffing and asked her what happened, only for her to say that she's grateful to him
(Hercules had told her mom the son-in-law's worried).
HGC tells her that on the contrary, he's grateful to her because she had given her daughter to him in marriage.
Lucky charm Hercules is like the best wife ever and we see the look of disbelief on their daughter, Gong Ju's face.
GJ comments that all her dad complains about every single day is that his greatest regret is not having a son.
Anyway, he tells them that they're living well because of the benevolence of their ancestors, and the wife has been most dutiful
in preparing their memorial rites. So, the wife is to spend whatever money she likes, she can even give some to others.
Obviously, that went down very well with Hercules.
While she's ladling up soup for them, it crosses her mind that maybe she should be nice and lend the KRW 50M to OJM,
just to have everyone else know just how well off she is now.

Meanwhile, YJY asks Prof Yun who is 'Dean Jo', is it that mistress?
She tells the husband that she hates it that she's unconsciously keeping tabs on him.
She doesn't want to hurt her pride anymore, neither does she ever want to hear the name 'Jo Su Jeong'.
But she wants to ask him everything that her pride prevented her from doing so before, this way she can sort things out emotionally.
When asked if he had bought the officetel for the TA, the husband has no choice but to come clean.
However, he explains that the poor girl had to move house but she had no $$$ etc.
She had been nice to him all this while, helping him a lot, tutoring their daughter blah blah blah (like the wife is buying it).
She immediately asks him about that prof whose father had supposedly died, and he continues to lie on that.
Her final question is whether he loves the TA. When he tries to sound incredulous,
she asks him if she can think of it as him having a temporary fling, just for the 'enjoyment'.
When he doesn't give a direct answer, she cuts in, telling him he might as well say he had loved the woman.
He denies it and apologises, saying that he was temporarily blinded, and guarantees that it won't happen again.
The man's totally confused over the whole situation.
YJY threatens that she won't ever see him again if he breaks the trust between them.

Unfortunately for the prof, the wives of other profs had a birthday party yesterday and one of them called YJY to ask why she didn't show up.
In their phone conversation, YJY finds out that the prof that her husband had claimed to have just lost his father had come to the party
and the chap was so amusing, so his lie was exposed.
To make matters even worse, Ha Na comes out and tells YJY she saw her ex-tutor at their estate earlier.
When asked if her dad was together with her when she saw her, Ha Na tells her mom that her dad wasn't as
he had wanted to take a stroll in the neighbourhood.
So, even if the two had not met, the wife now thinks that they had a secret rendezvous downstairs and concludes that he's ALL lies.

Post dinner, HGC is put off by his wife, Hercules farting in front of him.
He goes out, lying that there's a VIP having a private lesson at their golf driving range that night.
In any case, Hercules had decided that she'll lend the $$$ to OJM but didn't get to inform him as he was in a rush to get out.

The poor fried chicken ajussi was already in jitters over bumping into YJY when he went to Hercules' home to make a delivery.
To his horror, he discovers that the 2 women actually live on the same floor.
He obviously remembers how Hercules comnpletely beat up YJY back then. LOL 

Meanwhile, Hercules suddenly thought of having fried chicken and beer delivered to the golf range for the VIP.
So she calls the place to ask how many persons are there but is told that there's no one and the place's closed for the day.
Needless to say Hercules senses something wrong and charges off to the golf range.

thanks again. i think we will see the same thing here as you have said. a woman who is stealing her sister's husband (in the case of YJY and that TA mistress). how old do you think is this woman?  if she will turn out to be a daughter of daddy Yoo and Hercules's mom, am bothered that she is using the same last name as Hercules. the writer did not even let us know when or how old were they when they have to live together because they are sisters.

would you know if the fried chicken man just moved into the building? he appears to have a sharp memory because he recognized hercules right away. if he had been into that building long time ago just like YJY and OJM, i bet he should have at least encountered YJY before.

i hate mothers who do not know their children well. is falling in love (if it is even love) to a married man, knowing that you are destroying a family, a smart kid would do? poor woman, she thought she failed for having a trouble maker daughter (hercules). wait and see what your second daughter is doing.

In the case of the TA mistress, she's definitely older than her niece Gong Ju.
Probably not more than 30 I think.

The fried chicken man, his store is in the estate. Like OJM and her salon, there's no mention that they live in the estate itself.

E013 Recap

Hercules charges to the golf driving range on the hunch that her husband is having a secret date with the pro golf coach, Bang Se Ri.
Unfortunately for her, she couldn’t find them anywhere as the caretaker ajussi had been bought off by Han Gi Cheol
to put on an act to get her out ASAP while they hide in a secret compartment.
The unhappy Hercules suddenly comes running back to tell the caretaker that he’s fired and he realizes that she’s indeed the Boss’s wife.

Meanwhile, Fried Chicken ajussi takes out something from that night 20 years ago when he was left for dead by the 2 ladies.
It’s a yellow scarf and he mutters that he’s going to take revenge, just YJY wait…

The next morning, YJY interrogates Prof Yun on the TA mistress having appeared in their estate yesterday.
This time, it’s the truth when he says he doesn’t know a thing.
However, she calls him out on his lie on the professor whose father had ‘died’.

The TA mistress isn’t giving up. She even texted the prof to tell him to come for a meal at her place,
but he texted back to tell her not to wait for him as he’s not going to her place any more, it’s best for them to end everything here.
YJY was contemplating calling the TA mistress, but doesn’t and runs off to the officetel itself, only for the mistress to not be around.

Mama boy’s mum complains that she’s got no appetite given the black face her DIL is showing over the KRW 50M her darling boy loaned out and lost.
As far as OJM is concerned, it’s his return to gambling on horses that she’s not happy about.
They’ll have to perm goodness knows how many customers’ hair and do how many customers’ nails to earn it all back.
Mummy tells her off that she’s not the only one doing all the work at the salon.
On top of that, OJM is to go to a Traditional Korean Medical hospital with her as the MIL is getting increasingly anxious with each passing year.
OJM reminds her that she’s not the one who needs to take TKM medicine, the mama boy is,
only for the MIL to tell her not to push all the blame on her poor innocent son. 
When OJM goes off to take a call, Mummy turns on mama boy and asks him if there’s a problem with him.
The poor man was utterly horrified that she’s asking such a ‘personal’ question.

The call for OJM was from Hercules, telling her to drop by her apartment when she goes to her salon.
And we see Hercules pass a big stack of $$$ to OJM when she dropped in.
Looks like Hercules is a careful woman, she remembered to ask OJM to write her an IOU.
In addition, she tells OJM to inform YJY that she’s the one who has lent her the $$$,
gleefully saying that if YJY learns that the $$$’s from her, she’ll die from anger.
OJM refuses to do so, insisting that she’s the one who’s borrowing it.
As Hercules tries to talk OJM into telling YJY the source of the loan, HGC comes out.

Hercules asks him about the previous evening and he lies that the VIP’s lesson ended early and
everyone went off for fried chicken and beer, and quickly runs off for dear life.
Hercules is anything but convinced. She smells something fishy.
 
The estate’s female security guard passes a special delivery package to YJY.
Before she could open it when she got home, OJM shows up with the stack of KRW 50M.
She tells YJY that she’s grateful for the interest-free loan she received from her back then,
so she’s repaying the loan (KRW 30M) PLUS lending her an extra KRW 20M. YJY can take her time repaying the latter.

Back to the package, the Fried Chicken ajussi’s revenge has started.
He sent her the yellow scarf she dropped that day, completely freaking her out.

Meanwhile, TA mistress asks the prof for an explanation for the breakup.
When told that she should well be aware of the situation, she begs him not to break up like that, promising not to ask anything else of him.
He doesn’t reply but pulls out his cellphone, calling the wife to tell her, right in front of the TA,
that he’s coming home for dinner and he’s also sorry for having lied, before getting into his car.
She gets the message.

Incidentally, something funny in the scene with Hercules and Gong Ju in their living room
They’re watching the MV of the kpop girl group, Rainbow.
The actress playing GJ happens to be from that group.
Hercules goes that the girls are so skinny, are they monkeys? Only to be told that skinny is the in thing these days cos it’s sexy.
Hercules doesn’t buy it, saying that if they get any sexier, they would be a pile of bones. LOL

When the mom comes out, Hercules asks her if she’s fat, only to be told she is.
(well, we always see her munching on something, and it’s obvious the wardrobe department has stuffed padding into the actress’ pants to make her butt look big).

Anyway, the mom asks when they’re going to visit the younger TA sister.

YJY suddenly drops in on Hercules.
Hercules mistakenly thinks that YJY knows that she had lent her the money.
On seeing GJ and Hong Geum Suk around, she runs back to her unit.

Daddy Yoo tells his ‘sister’ (mama boy’s mom, Gim Bong Sun) that he’s now looking for a job as a security guard.

Freaked out YJY tries a 2nd time to get to talk to Hercules alone.
She calls OJM to get her cellphone number.
The 2 ladies finally meet and YJY immediately asks her if she was the one who did it (sent the yellow scarf).
Obviously, Hercules has no idea what she’s talking about.
YJY pulls out the scarf and reminds her of that night.
They each accuse the other of having killed the guy.
The security guard ajumma’s sudden appearance nearly scares them half to death (it happens to be in the middle of the night). LOL

YJY still thinks Hercules sent the scarf to her to scare her, only to be told the she doesn’t even know that YJY had dropped a scarf that night.
As they try to think of who could have sent it, Hercules suggests it might be OJM. YJY doesn’t think so.
They dig a hole in the ground to bury the scarf. LOL
Hercules tells YJY that for the interim, they should test OJM.
Too bad for them, that scarf gets dug up by someone (probably the fried chicken guy though all we see is the hand).

Meanwhile, mama boy tries to make up with the wife so she got round to asking for procreative sex and he reluctantly complies.
But when he finds out that it’s not her ovulation day that day, he backs off.
The furious wife sends him flying off the bed. She's fed up of always being the one to make the moves.

YJY has a nightmare over the scarf while Hercules is still convinced it’s the doing of OJM.

Meanwhile, the TA mistress shows up at the estate and runs in front of the prof’s car.

E014 Recap

TA mistress shows up at the prof’s estate and runs in front of his car.
He has no choice but to drag her off somewhere.
Unfortunately, for them, the security ajumma had spotted them, recognizing the woman as Ha Na’s tutor.

Desperate TA mistress is ‘dying’ from not being to see her lover.
Can’t eat, can’t sleep and everyone she sees on the streets, they all look like him.

Fried Chicken man looks to be sending a 2nd package.
Hercules’ mom tries to get her to go with her to visit the sister, but Hercules is unwilling.
The special delivery package arrives and she has to pay on delivery.
It’s the rock she had tried to hit the fried chicken man with 20 years ago.
Meanwhile, the man is having fun torturing the 2 women.
Hercules is still convinced it’s OJM as there weren’t anyone around except her back then.
She charges down to the salon and drags OJM out to accuse her.
OJM obviously doesn’t have the faintest idea what Hercules was rattling away about.

At the golf driving range, the Bang woman is muttering to herself that she could probably close the deal.
No idea what she’s talking about, but I get a feeling she might be out to con HGC of his money for all we know.

Hercules’ mom calls her to come visit her sister’s new place, saying that she’s also called the son-in-law and granddaughter, so
they’re going to have a family dinner there.
Needless to say, Hercules is too freaked out by the rock to be bothered and refuses to go.

The sister tells her mom she doesn’t like ‘other people’ coming to her home.
So, the mom had best not visit again.
The door bell rings and it’s a parcel for JSJ.
And we find out that the TA had changed her name from “Gyeong Ja” to “Su Jeong” without informing her mom.
She explains that “Gyeong Ja” was too old fashioned.
Incidentally, “Su Jeong” means ‘crystal’.

Meanwhile, the 2 ladies meet up at, of all places, the fried chicken shop.
Hercules accuses YJY of sending her the rock and the scarf is but an act on YJY’s part.
Everything that has happened is all by YJY.
Fried chicken man is having fun with his revenge.

Back at Hercules’ home, they go through the possibilities.
Since the man had died and OJM is the only person who knows both their addresses, they conclude that OJM is behind all this,
but she doesn’t seem to know. YJY is still not convinced that it’s OJM.
Since there’s only the dead man left, Hercules thinks his spirit might be back to haunt them.
Just then the door bell rings and they nearly die of shock. LOL.
It’s Gim Bong Sun who’s come to visit Hong Geum Suk as she didn’t turn up for their singing class.
Once the old lady leaves, Hercules, who can’t stand it anymore, suggests to YJY that they should
verify the matter (check if there’s a corpse) tomorrow by going back to the spot.

Meanwhile, OJM suspects that something is up with the 2 women.
Her MIL calls her to tell her to come home early, they’re cleaning out the fridge that day.
In a state of panic, OJM rushes home. Turns out, the tonics that her MIL had gotten for her,
she’s had not taken a single packet of them and they’re still hidden in the freezer.
She clears them out just in time as her MIL returns, only to get hit with a new batch of tonics.
Unfortunately for her, she gets busted by her MIL.
Mama boy returns just in time to save her by redirecting his mom’s attention to his skin allergy.

Prof Yun discovers the stack of $$$ in the drawer. YJY tell him it’s her dad’s $$$.
The prof gets an idea and at the dinner table, when the FIL brings up the subject of a further promotion for his son-in-law,
the prof purposely tells him that rather than ability, it’s money that’s far more helpful.
YJY snaps at him, telling him that they’ve invested enough in him and to depend on his own ability in future, warning him off depending on her dad’s $$$.

What a useless man the prof is! He’s been caught having an affair and his skin is so thick as to ask for a hand-out?

The family takes a photo with the prof’s cellphone for Ha Na’s school project.
When she finds that she can’t access it as a password is required, he unlocks it for her and YJY takes the opportunity to memorize the pattern.

Meanwhile, the 2 ladies return to Gangwon province to verify if the man had really died 20 years ago.
But first, YJY makes a stop to pay the loansharks back their $$$ and poor YJY finds out that she has still the interest on the loan to pay.
Obviously she doesn’t have the $$$.
The sharp Hercules helps her out by telling the loansharks that they’ve to pay for the damage to the “expensive foreign goods”
they had smashed up at YJY’s home the last time, if not, they’ll lodge a report to claim damages from them.
In addition, they had hit Hercules and her waist still hurts, so she’s claiming medical treatment expenses from them too.
The loansharks give up and start to walk off.
Hercules tries to get them to return the loan slip to YJY by holding on to them and screaming for help,
saying they’re gangsters and for someone to call the police.
The loansharks offered to slash the interest by half, but she insisted on dragging them to the police station.
When the eatery waitress comes up to see what’s happening, Hercules starts to scream that her hand hurts,
and puts on an act making it look like the loansharks were threatening her.
In the end, they got the loan document back from them. LOL
Yay, Hercules!

While Hercules was expecting YJY to thank her, all she got was to be told to put her foot down as it’s really uncultured, and YJY had not asked her for help.
Hercules decides to bear with it, but they end up fighting over which radio station to listen to.
YJY accuses her of having fun when they’ve serious business to attend to, only to be told off by Hercules that

In the end, Hercules thoroughly upsets YJY when she tells her that given YJY’s current circumstances (bankrupt dad + philandering husband),

Back at the salon, OJM can’t get hold of both ladies and her assistant tells her she saw the two driving off together.
Meanwhile, Charles Jeong drops in and OJM asks him when he’s going to return the KRW 30M, only for a panicky mama boy to drag the man out.
Turns out, he had only loaned KRW 20 M to Charles, uh oh, looks like mama boy had lost double what he had reported to his wife at the races.

The 2 ladies finally arrive and find the spot.
Hercules starts to dig and YJY does a rubbish job of it.
Hercules then realizes it’s the wrong spot and finally finds the right place.
Hitting something solid, she fearfully reaches out for it.

After E014, I really don't like that Prof Yun much, prior to that, I was neutral as I was waiting for more info to emerge.
The man is just plain shameless. One fine day, his wife will let it loose just as Hercules had suggested to her.

Han Gi Cheol, other than the affair with that coach Bang, he isn't such a bad guy.
He's nice to his mother-in-law, genuinely caring for her, at times more so than her own daughter Hercules.
He doesn't mind the MIL living with them and actually gives her pocket money.
Neither does he complain about having to provide financial assistance to the sister-in-law.
He's actually supportive of her studies.
All in all, he's a generous guy.
HGC does come across as an old fashioned guy though, seeing how he insists on the monthly formal bow to his family's forebears.
It's nice that he doesn't take the wealth that they left him for granted and he remembers to be grateful for it.
And the fact that he's so stuck on having a son in this day and age, definitely an old fogey.
There's no info on whether Hercules and him had tried other means to conceive (e.g. IVF) though.
It's not like they don't have the $$$ for the more expensive treatments.
Or is Gong Ju a really lucky break for them and Hercules actually has trouble conceiving?
She's still young enough to try for another child.

That mama boy... he can be summed up in one word -- useless!
His wife, OJM is actually quite a nice friend to the 2 ladies.
She still puts up with the husband since he does side with her when his mother attacks her.

the murder case in this drama is so interesting especially now that we know that bang se ri is associated with that fried chicken man. am loving hercules. she is so funny. lol when she said skinny people are monkeys. she really makes me laugh.

Actress Han Kyung Sun passes away

 

 

Veteran actress Han Kyung Sun, who was earlier announced to have suffered a sudden stroke due to cerebral infarction, has passed away. 

 

As previously reported, the actress suddenly fell unconscious on June 30 after having a meal together with the staff following the filming of her MBC daily drama. She was rushed to the hospital, and she regained consciousness for a short time on July 1, but soon fell unconscious again. She had been in a critical state yesterday, and it was revealed today (July 4) that she passed away at 12 AM.

 

 

Her reps revealed that her family and friends were with her when she passed and the actress went peacefully without any pain.

 

Her wake has been set up at the Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, and her funeral procession will take place on the 6th.

 

The actress has appeared in a variety of of productions over her career, receiving love for her roles in 'King Gwanggaeto', 'Ruby Ring', 'Cuckoo's Nest', and more. Most recently, she had been starring in MBC's daily drama, 'Great Wife'.

 

Our hearts go out to all her loved ones including her family, friends, and colleagues. May she rest in peace.

At first I thought her character has not appeared yet in the drama. But, I came across an article (in Korean, just tried to understand it base on how Google translated it) about Kim Ji Young's (Hercules) reaction to her death, where it was mentioned these 2 recently shot for this drama.

The actress was left in critical condition after suffering a stroke following a meal with the staff of her MBC daily drama, Great Wife, earlier this week. Although she did wake up briefly on July 1st, Han Kyung Sun quickly relapsed into an unconscious state.

The fifty-three year old actress did not recover from her critical condition and quietly passed away earlier today, on July 4th KST. It was further revealed that she was surrounded by her friends and family at her time of passing.

Her legend will be remembered through her loved roles in the many productions she took a part in over the years, such as Ruby Ring and Cuckoo’s Nest. Fellow actors includingJung Yoon Hye, Kim Ji Young, and Jung Jun Ho expressed their disbelief of her passing and commented about her always bright face and nice words.

Han Kyung Sun’s wake has been arranged at Seoul’s St. Mary’s Hospital. The funeral procession will take place next Monday, on the 6th of July.

Our hearts are with her loved ones, friends, family, colleagues, and fans. May she rest in peace.
