SONAMOO (소나무) Korean for Pine Tree (the meaning behind the group name is the members’ desire to consistently make music that is full of life, like a pine tree) , is a 7 membered Korean group under TS Entertainment. The members of the group were introduced individually prior to debut starting with Nahyun, New Sun and Euijin. Later on member D.ana (whose stage name was given by fans) was introduced through a self-composed track called 'Set It On Fire ’ showing her skills. 'New Sun x D.ana' then showed both their composing and rapping skills through a track called 'As If Putting On an Armor'. Member High.D was later introduced through another track covering Jennifer Hudson’s 'And I am telling you I'm not Going' gathering much attention from the media with her outstanding vocal skills, leaving members Sumin and Minjae to be introduced as the last members of the group. SONAMOO debuted on December 29th, 2014.
