@mrdimples, I do believe it is an official poster, and thank you. Good catch that both posters using same picture of Joo Won.  In the new poster, Joo Won looks up, while Kim Tae Hee looks down. A reflection on the way ahead of them?  He feels the need to climb up (from the mess he is in, with the debts, and possibly socially too?) while she feels she is descending.

They are also separated, as each in his/her own different world... And they both look in opposite direction.  What would they need to cross to bring them together is my thought..

'Yong-pal-yi' Joo Won & Kim Tae-hee, on wires for more than 10 hours... giving their utmost best

 

The fact that Joo Won and Kim Tae-hee had to spend more than 10 hours on wires for SBS' new Wednesday-Thursday drama "Yong-pal-yi" (Script by Jang Hyeok-rin, directed by Oh Jin-seok) has recently been made public.

A "behind the scenes" video of the two giving their utmost has been posted on SBS' official Facebook page and YouTube channel (SBSNOW).

In the making of the trailer, director Oh Jin-seok and creative director Lee Dong-ho, who was involved with productions of Hollywood movies such as "Ironman, "300", and Korean drama "The Family Is Coming", joined in.

 

Kim Tae-hee as Han Yeo-Jin performed on the wire alone and then had to continue acting while holding hands and hugging Joo Won as Kim Tae-hyeon. The two did not lose the smiles on their faces while hanging on wires and spinning around again and again.  Joo Won who was hanging upside down became well versed in somersaulting in mid-air.  

After more than 10 hours of filming, Joo Won said "It was fun being hung up in the air. The atmosphere is great" and smiled. Kim Tae-hee gave us a big smile and said "After not being on the wires for a long time, it is not easy to get back into grove. But just watching the teaser makes me excited. I wish the viewers also have their hopes up for the show".

The completed teaser made news by including a narration by Kim Tae-hee saying "the way to escape a bad dream is to wake up. If you cannot, the nightmares continues".   
An insider with SBS drama said "For this teaser trailer, the actors had to hang for more than 10 hours from wires in order to get great shots. We wish you give the attention warranted to the cast and crew of 'Yong-pal-yi ' who are even now sweating to make a great show".

The drama "Yong-pal-yi" stars Joo Won,  Kim Tae-hee, Jo Hyeon-jae, Chae Jeong-an, Jeong Woong-in, Ahn Se-ha, Song Kyeong-cheol, and Kim Mi-kyeong.

The show will try to keep the top spot in the Wednesday-Thursday drama timeslot. The first episode will air on August 5th at 10PM.

He was in China the day before,in Sydney yesterday and in  Taipei this morning, just 14 hours ago.Now back to Korea and filming?!?!

Did he become immortal last year?

I don't know if learning how to play the violin, how to conduct and delivering another great performance in Tomorrow Cantabile made him an immortal but I guess he's your hardworking Korean actor who flew to China with a cold, sang beautifully winning the hearts of Chinese fans, zoosh down under to the Blue Mountains and then flew up again to Taipei 101. 

Now, he's just back to terrorizing his patients in Hanshin Hospital. Oh wait.....you meant immortal...a good one....not necessarily blood sucking creatures.......does hospital bill qualify?

i'm a tad bit worried about how netizens will accept this drama. i've always been worried, cant help it...

currently, SBS has two chaebol (ridiculously rich people) dramas, Mask and High Society. both have quite high ratings currently, leading up their timeslots. to follow up with Mask is Yongpal, also another chaebol drama, with additional medical and gangsters storyline. i'm quite afraid if netizens dont really accept this drama since they might be tired of watching more chaebol storyline again, which consists of power-hungry siblings arguing with each other to get their family's company/fortune.

 

anyway, cant wait for Yongpal! whatever happens, i'll always be here spazzing about this drama and the actors and storyline. good to know they have some creative people BTS in creating those awesome teaser photos and videos. so excited!!!

Still, I will like to see the writer taking digs at the rich people and their "rich" problems. Maybe have characters from Mask like Mi Yeon calling for Yong Pal because she's ran out of drugs or whatever she's been getting high on. Or Seok Hoon need Yong Pal's help to dislodge the tteokbokki stuck in his throat because he was too busy scheming and forgot to chew.

Yes, i worry about ratings. But as you said, storyline is important in garnering people's interest. As long as the storyline is good, then it should gain viewer's interest. No reason to worry about it now, so i guess i'll just go with the flow.

So far, i'm satisfied with the casting. And i've watched the writer's previous work, so i kind of trust him/her. The directing worries me now. I dont like a small aspect of the first teaser, though it's beautifully executed. The 2nd teaser was much better, showing the gazillion emotions Joowon can carry. i've just completed the director's previous work, and there were a lot of clumsy directing and editing. So it worries me if the clumsiness remains. Of course people gets better with every project, but when i see the 1st teaser... Anyway, i really wish for the best for Yongpal.

@farbarri     I hope the writer can deliver a compelling storyline throughout the drama.  Jo Hyun Jae and Chae Jung-An have a tough act to follow Yeon Jeong-Hun and  Yu In-Young.

Another article from Koala. I hope by the time this drama airs, she will change her mind about Joo Won. I am still shocked from her reaction.

Oh.. I am so happy that our famous hacker ahjumma from "Healer" -  Kim Mi-Kyung - will be in this drama.

Well,I have no expectation that Ms Koala will ever like Joo Won.It is normal actually.one's opinions can't be forced.

But what irks me is she covers the promo of every single project that Joo Won took in the past,not just 1 or 2 posts but a few of those,saying how she is intrested although she don't like JW,how JW to change her mind,etc etc.Then when they air,the dissing starts... (here this case,before it starts)Then the cycle continues..

 

I wonder why she doesn't leave him alone and stop complaining if she dislike him...It is like showing an interest in one particular food,then throw it on the floor and start stomping it in front of consumers...the worst of all,repeat the whole process.

@Ma OO   I agree... I'd expect that she would be more tenacious about reporting about actors she likes.

She likes his projects but does not like him?  sigh... Why not report positively about projects and people she is ecstatic about....  shrugs... Of course.. It's her blog, her choice. But I am feeling she loses credibility.
