He looks similar to Park Shi On, but in the night, he'll turn into a rude criminal who commits an illegal practice. Somehow, I think Kim Tae Hyun is a combination of Park Shi On and Lee Kang To. An excellent surgeon (Park Shi On), undercover at night to complete his secret mission (Lee Kang To). 

He looks similar to Park Shi On partly because this is in between takes? See that pout. I don't think Kim Tae Hyun will pout unless the vending machine swallowed his change :D

LOL...  It was my experience too :D But I'm not that mercenary like KTH. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Well.. I think Kim Tae Hyun looks really similar to Park Shi On wasn't only because of that pout, the white coat he used, nor because they are both equally genius surgeon.

Park Shi On was 1st year surgical resident back then (2 years ago). So, right now, he should have been in the 3rd year of residency. Kim Tae Hyun is a 3rd year resident, right?

Moreover, Good Doctor premiered on August 5, 2013. Meanwhile Yong Pal also will be premiered on August 5 (2015). Exactly two years apart between both dramas. So, maybe, the drama would like to show us, that for the past 2 years, Park Shi On has been growing up. Just like @ruzikie said.  B)

Don't ask me why suddenly he has the ability to undercover at night. Maybe, because he has realized that he was Gaksital's reincarnation.

Well, I'm kinda bored. :phew:

I remember him from School 2013, it seems that he will be alongside Joo Won as the resident in HanShin Hospital.

so some translators use of the word "quack" doctor isnt exactly incorrect since the word used to describe tae hyun sometimes does have the interpretation of a quack or fraud doctor in english.

so i will post what unedited bit i have so far for joo won. the rest is pretty much the last 4-5 lines of what @mrdimples translated c: there's a lot of repeating parts in it so i kind of skipped over finishing his lol

i plan to keep working on them but not enough time to sit and edit :c

His purpose, for illegally visiting patients privately, is of course money. 
The only person he cares for is his sister, Sohyeon. 
Since childhood, his sister frequently got sick until ultimately developing a serious illness requiring a liver transplant. 
Recently, Tae Hyun plans at getting his sister a liver transplant fell through, leaving him with only a costly debt. 
Therefore, Tae Hyun has set out to do whatever it takes to earn money.

Yongpal Releases Excellent Drama Poster with Artfully Arranged Kim Tae Hee and Joo Won

Upcoming SBS Wed-Thurs drama Yongpal (Yongpalyi) is certainly going for style in all the promos so far. Whether it’ll end up being style over substance is yet to be seen but it certainly doesn’t hurt the drama to ramp up the visual aesthetics from the outset. Currently airing SBS melodrama Mask continues the ratings winnings streak for the network on Wed-Thurs so it doesn’t hurt that follow up drama Yongpal plays up the dramatic angle to the max. I liked the first teaser but noticed it reminded me of the teaser for KBS revenge thriller Shark, while others saw the similarity to KBS surprise hit Secret (Secret Love).

Recently Yongpal is getting a lot of attention from Miss Koala,not a bad thing I guess. I agree with her on poster which I find it very intriguing and unique.This poster tells the emotions that characters feel without using much graphics.I don't know about other but I kind of see traces of sorrow in this poster.It looks like Kim Tae Hyun is longing for something,something he will never get?I don't know,I just feel from poster that he is one lonely soul.

Also,his eyes.I can'r really see it clearly but something about them is so breathtaking,full with mysteries and yearning.Now,I want to see real photo of Joo Won from poster. For those who have seen Joo Won's acting,they will know that Joo Won has one expressive pairs of eyes.He could just sit there and do nothing but his eyes will be "telling" the emotions that he feels.

Teaser poster of ‘Yong-pal’ revealed

The first teaser poster for the upcoming SBS drama “Yong-pal” was revealed Monday, July 20.

The poster shows a scalpel reflecting the face of main actress Kim Tae-hee as if she is trapped in the blade. It was designed by creative director Lee Dong-ho, who participated in the making of Hollywood movies including “Iron Man” and “300.”

The new drama features a story about a talented surgeon, desperate for money, who rescues “sleeping beauty” Han Yeo-jin, a chaebol heiress, from a medically induced coma. It is set to premiere on Aug. 5.

Hi guys. I'm also looking forward to this drama as I am a fan of Joo Won :) 

I just checked on Asianwiki and noticed the additional cast. I'm thinking Park Hye Soo will be playing as Joo Won's Kim Tae Hyun's sister, her name will be Kim So Hyun. If I'm not wrong, Park Hye Soo competed in Kpop Star 4 (a talent show in SK) and was recently under SIM Entertainment, the same agency as Joo Won. 

But I'm not sure if she's the Park Hye Soo listed in Asianwiki :D
