Yesterday (May 2), David Beckham celebrated his 40th birthday with family and friends in Morocco and received the one gift that we all secretly want: a Spice Girls reunion!

Victoria Beckham was joined by fellow bandmates Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell at a dinner for her husband, and while Mel B wasn't in attendance, one of the Beckhams' famous friends was all too happy to fill in.

 

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria shared a picture of herself with the group on her WhoSay account, revealing her new status as an honorary Spice Girl.

"I'm the new Spice Girl!" she captioned, before adding the hashtag that would confirm her Spice Girl persona - #LatinaSpice.

The man of honor also joined in with the social media fun yesterday as he officially joined the world of Instagram and posted pictures of his birthday celebrations with his family.

Bunton addressed rumors of an official Spice Girls reunion happening ahead of the 20th anniversary of their debut single 'Wannabe' in 2016 earlier this year.

"It's just when the timing is right because we all have our own careers now and we have families," the singer revealed. "It's just about getting five schedules together and that's all it is."
