Thanks for all the hard work staff! 

Congrats on finally setting up the permanent forums. It took a while to get the hang of it, but I like it. I do miss the insightful, awesome, lol but there are many other features which makes this one cool too!

I'm patiently waiting for the temporary forums to be merged because the talk about the recent episodes are there. 

Will our status feeds on the temp forums be moved too? I wrote quite a long status feed which I loved. I kind of miss that. 

Another thing I'm looking forward too are themes. I hope Soompi would have some cute themes for our forums...

 We only have posts to migrate from the temp. forums. We're still processing the data and there is no news if we are able to import more content. Stay tuned.

Regarding to themes, we don't have information on them yet. Although, we do have a designer working on the general layout of the platform.

I notice that couple of issues with access from mobile devices have persisted in the new site. When I try to access it via Chrome on my S5 running Lollipop 5.0, I can't login because the dropdown login screen doesn't come up, either in the mobile or desktop mode. All that happens is the screen greys out, as in this screenshot:

 Just go to the right. I have the same phone.

Congrats on the move. I know things are in flux right now, but just thought I would leave some quick feedback

1. Perhaps, some kind of forum icons (available on IPB for free) can help make the categories and sections stand out more.

2. Similarly, perhaps a different thread title color can be added, because now, the thread titles are blending into the forum background.

3. There are a few highly recommended spam/bots blocker on IPB that work in addition to the built-in blocker (just a heads up, cause manual deletion, would be a pain, with such a large forum).

4. Perhaps, instead of a Status Update section, a Hot Topics or Recent Topics section?

5. Sometimes, when in the settings section - one is transferred to the old settings section - http://www.soompi.com/login/?action=profile, and any changes/clicks on that page leads to an error message: "Sorry, there is a problem. The page you requested does not exist. Error code: 1S160/2"

Remembering the icon "laughing" under the post, I love it so much. But in this version it no longer appears Besides, the space for member's post is smaller, while the advertisement column is bigger

Still trying to remain patient till all the bugs are worked out, but one thing I can't take is the Featured Topics showing in threads.  

I can understand it being at the main page, but do we really need to see that while browsing in threads? it's taking up so much space.

Hi ya! so noticed that the points have remained unchanged even though people are hitting likes. when I click on activity page, all my posts have zero likes. but when you see in the actual forums, you are seeing something else..

@Lmangla Are you viewing it under Profile -> Activity Feed? On that page, all like (heart) indicators are shown as 0, though if clicked, it does show the people who did like a particular post. However, it does display correctly under "My Activity" page.

​Hmm... mine does increase as and when there are likes. I just liked your post, and your reaction points also increased from 17568 to 17569. Perhaps you might want to monitor again and see if the problem recurs. Hope it's sorted out!

Thanx a lot! That must be a lot work to do - and I´m happy and glad that we have this Forum - and that so many People put effort in it to make it possible - that we keep this Forum. Yes - I miss lol - and Insight - but we was prepared for it. We have to deal with a few changes - and I will do it - very grateful!

 

There is only one thing - I hope it will not remain like it is now - Featured Topics  - its good to see it on the Main Page? But why in the Threads? It take too much Space we can use for all the stuff we want to discuss or share. Just my Meaning - but is there hope that this will change?

new forum takes forever to load.. its imposible for me to load the forum after when my connection is slow..

Hi how do you search inside a thread? Not search terms in the entire forum but the thread only. Thank you.

While your in the thread, go to the search box, enter a term, scroll down from all content and choose 'This Topic' before you hit search.

For the time being, the featured topics panel will be staying. It's designed to be helpful for all of our members trying to familiarize themselves with the new forum. How convenient is it to have the tutorial/FAQ and bug reporting/welcome threads right at our fingertips during these initial stages to address any issues or concerns we might have?

The new server is still adjusting and familiarizing themselves with our traffic. During this time, there are times in which the forum might be slow, but our techies are working as fast and as hard as they can to resolve this as soon as possible. How do we report spam or possible abuse in the new system?

looks pretty suspicious.

Only one post so far, but it has nothing to do with the drama concerned, and the user's url is the website of a Toyota dealer in Vietnam.  It does however  have text that looks enough like a typical soompi posting to get past a standard type of spam scanner. Has a spam bot been specifically crafted to target soompi?

With our rules, it is acceptable to link a website in a signature or via their personal profile.

You may send a report anytime by clicking the corresponding feature located at the top of a post.

Then, our moderation team will be able to investigate the query.
