Kang Mina Joins Ji Chang Wook And Shin Hye Sun In Talks For New Drama By “When The Camellia Blooms” Director

Kang Mina may be starring alongside Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun in an upcoming drama!

On March 16, a representative from Kang Mina’s agency Jellyfish Entertainment revealed, “Kang Mina received an offer from the producers of new drama ‘Welcome to Samdalri’ [working title] and is currently positively reviewing.”

Helmed by Cha Young Hoon of “When the Camellia Blooms” and penned by Kwon Hye Joo of “Go Back Couple” and “Hi, Bye Mama,” JTBC’s “Welcome to Samdalri” tells the story of someone who appears to others like a dragon ascending gracefully. When they suddenly lose everything they have, they come crashing down and must return to where they came from in order to catch their breath.

Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun are currently in talks to play the male and female leads Jo Young Pil and Jo Eun Hye. Kang Mina has been offered the role of Jo Eun Hye’s younger sister, while Shin Dong Mi is in discussions to play their eldest sister.

Stay tuned for more updates!
