Why, why, why? I'm speechless about the "smoking post". I knew JCW was a smoker and it's his choice about his life decisions. But why post something that might bring controversy to his career when it is not necessary. I'm a die hard JCW fan and this incident won't change my feelings at all. But social media can be so nasty!! As JCW plans his fan meetings, he needs to have the fans focus on his positive accomplishments and not distractions. I do not know if anyone else notices that JCW's smiles aren't as bright and giggly like before. I thought this was evident at the AAA Awards and some recent photos. I hope I'm wrong. I hope a great project is on the horizon and he can continue growing professionally.

Time for Melting Me Softly, Ep. 13! If you were worried about the mystery of the Bad Guy and his body double in the freezer capsule, the story pretty much comes together in this episode, and explains a lot of what happens in the final three episodes.  

 

Meantime, we find that Ma Dong Chan has been called on the red carpet by the head honchos at TBO, grilled by the police, and generally been made to feel bad about revealing the Frozen Human Project....so he does what Ma Dong Chan does....he quits TBO, because: 

 

Unfortunately for him, Mi Ran has a problem with this action and she wonders about his PLAN:

 

 

I don't think she expected to hear about YouTube!  She makes one more casual remark to Ma Dong Chan that she may come to regret.  See what and why under the spoiler!

This little scene displays so vividly how different she and Ha Yeong react so differently to Dong Chan.  Mi Ran says plainly....I support you, why would I stop you.  

 

Then here is her major mistake...not choosing her  words precisely.

 

Ma Dong Chan obediently promises to discuss everything.  Ma Dong Chan's weapon of choice is humor when he takes her literally at her word.

I really enjoyed the way that this scenario played out between the two of them.  It seems to put them on equal footing...can't ever be too careless around Ma Dong Chan.  See what happens next....

So GOOD to see Wook is out and about and enjoying some downtime!  Thanks so much to @cherkellfor all of the current material. 

 

I'm here to give a quick rundown on Melting Me Softly, Ep. 14.  When we quit Ep. 13, Mi Ran had seen MDC and Ha Yeong in what she mistakenly took as an intimate embrace and as a consequence wouldn't talk to Dong Chan or take his calls.  When he finally catches up with her they have  the kind of discussion men and women have been having for, probably, thousands of years, and the kind of discussion that guys hate the most!    MDC, honest as always, and true to character, answers:

 

Ma Dong Chan's family suddenly become very aware of the two and call a family meeting to find out what direction the dating is taking.

As Episode 14 ends we find Ha Yeong even admitting to having planned to put Mi Ran back into a freezer capsule to spite Ma Dong Chan and make him suffer; Ha Yeong has even softened so much that she keeps Mi Ran from being run over by the murderer on a motorcycle.  Ha Yeong has come a long, long way and Dong Chan wishes her to "Live Well."

Oh....this is too rich!  Home finally on Christmas Eve and I get situated in my study to go through the materials I've organized to recap Melting Me Softly Ep. 15, and I see @cherkell's post about Ji Chang Wook on his way to, or in, Miami.  So while I was sitting here, or at my work, the said object of my attentions and discussion was flying directly over my head at probably 500 miles per hour due south to Miami!!  Whoa!  So close, yet so far.... A good 5-6  hour drive on a good day with no holiday.

 

This is one more good reason for me to celebrate Fesitivus (for the rest of us) and to really,really have something to bring to the table as the Airing of Grievances begins...If I had only known....

 

Doesn't he look wonderful...carefree, casual.....sandy?

Back to ya to highlight Melting Me Softly, Episode 15, part 1. 

 

Ma Dong Chan has finally been able to take the last treatment to return his temperature to normal.  He begged to take it first, before Mi Ran could take it.  The results:

Melting Me Softly, Episode 15, part 2 highlights.  Ma Dong Chan is determined to visit Mi Ran at the teaser shooting site.  They are both confident and secure in their affection for each other and have, for the moment, forgotten all their other troubles.  They are open with each other and could care less about what other people think. It looks like love and it shows when he opens his arms wide and she runs into those arms.

 

 

 

But she sees what he doesn't see.....

 

 

Mi Ran is gravely injured.  But nothing in the lives of these two is simple.  

 

 

Mi Ran must go back into the cryogenic capsule...the only way to save her is to stop time, again.
