Hi guys,

Can I please have everyone's attention regarding sharing pictures to your individual SNS? This is something Maja and I have come across millions of times when we collect goodies, not just in JCW's fandom, but others too. This image came up on my TL where this IG poster has not only modified Luo Ye's pictures, but also removed her watermark. The IG poster also did not indicate the source of the image.

The original owner, Luo Ye has posted her comment asking, "Where is my logo? Should I put it on his face next time?!"

As someone who takes joy in sharing pictures with you guys, I am asking everyone (including lurkers) to be aware that most of these picture-taking fans really do NOT appreciate their pictures getting modified especially having their watermarks removed/cut off. Which is why Maja and I take extra steps putting in red warnings not to modify the images or remove logo. We don't enjoy doing this, but we figure we must remind everyone not to destroy the pictures.

In addition, if you want to edit and make fanarts, or any modifications and publish it, please ask the owner for permission yourself. Note: Please don't ask me how to get to them. If you want to modify, then take the intiative and responsibility to find the owner on your own.

Sorry I am not exactly in the best of mood after seeing Luo Ye being upset. And last night, a Chinese JCW fan declared she's going to stop following Wookie because she was upset with something relates to Wookie's fandom (I do not know what). Not to mention, we have completely lost awesome photographers like IdealType. Thus, it upsets me to no end if more and more fans that take good pictures disappear or share less and less, and even led to closing down of their blogs (which is the case for KSH and LMH!).

So yeah, just wanted everyone who post or lurk here for goodies to know the seriousness.
