Omg, I was so excited this morning when I saw today's preview on HM telling HZ about his real relationship with SN, but now that I saw the tidbit of spoiler I don't know if I'm excited about it anymore ....Don't worry @nefariouskat, it's not your fault in any way. I wanted to know so I chose to read the spoiler . But gosh, I don't know if I like the sound of where the drama is heading...I don't want HZ to ditch HM ...and chose Jiang Qian Yao ! Hopefully it won't turn out to be wayyy too messy and crazy!

On a happier note, I also don't pay much attention to the stream of words that appear as well since in the past they are usually announcements or notifications about the BTS or some promotional event for the drama, but that's interesting that they post spoilers now. From now on I will definitely read every one of them haha!! Thanks for sharing this important information @nefariouskat!

I am not sure you're still missing the title for Episode 4, but the title of it is "A woman's revenge towards another women is to steal her money, food and man". I will never forget the opening of this one, it was hilarious!

The OST is actually out already. It was released on November 20th. So all the songs are out in full. I love the song that you like too! When I first heard it in the 20min preview, I was already "who sang it?, I want to hear the full versionnnnn *in a demanding voice*!" haha. Another song I really like is "Ask Why" (我何必) by Janice Yan .

Haha, I have watched the variety show they went on to promote too! But I kind of wished that they went on more variety shows to promote the drama more...and so that I can watch the casts' interaction off-screen as well. I personally thought KangXi was a disappointment because the whole cast didn't get a lot of time to promote the drama. I felt like most of the episode focused on the other people while the cast only took up like only 10mins of the show so it was such a disappointment to me since I was actually looking forward to it. Alice, Joanne and Harry also went on a cooking variety show as well, which was quite fun to watch. But yeah, Roy's interview was a good watch. I liked that we were able to hear his story and his thoughts about life.

I also don't mind helping out with the translation of the BTS as well since they are pretty short in comparison to a whole episode, but my availability might be a problem. I am only free for 1-2 hours each night (on weekdays) since work takes up the majority of my time. However, I am more free over the weekends so if it works with both of you then let me know . But just a heads up, I also don't know the technical aspect of subbing as well.....

HSN was questioning CHZ about her making a fool of HM and CHZ told her how sad she was, whenever she closed her eyes, she sees HM's smiling face, etc. There's also another one whereby she was talking HM about how she wants to stay by his side but she can't. Ahhhh... those scenes! I think I will cry buckets when those scenes are finally shown.

 

btw, i'm sure @ohchloe welcomes your help! I finished the translation for episode 1 BTS but have yet to pass to her for the technical part. Wow, really not easy.

Actually i would love to translate that 20mins trailer shown during the press conference. I think the non-mandarin speaking MMoN fans will love us for that! 

@xiashenghan you should definitely watch Office Girls if you are still able to find subbed version of it. I enjoyed it very much! 

With regards to the lyrics, thou i would love to translate, however i have a feeling that it will be tough, for some songs has those poetic feel to it or deeper meaning to the words. So if i were to translate, i think a lot of meaning will be lost in translation. Perhaps others are able to help?

I wish there was something I could do to help, but I neither understand Mandarin nor know anything about the technical aspects of subbing. I guess if you need someone to edit the English to make sure the grammar/spelling/punctuation is correct, I could do that? Let me know!

Regarding the spoilers mentioned above, why does finding out that Justin is Shengnan's brother make Huanzhen "lose all hope in love"? Because she thinks he was intentionally plotting with SN to trick her? Because she almost married his uncle and thinks his family won't approve? I'm sure it will make sense when we get to that part, but right now I don't understand why finding out his identity would make her feel that way.

I'm not sure how I feel about Qianyao. Probably because he's only appeared briefly so far so I don't really have a grasp on his character yet. I'm definitely curious what kind of relationship he had both with HZ and with SN. It would be cute if it turned out that he liked SN all along (he did still remember her after all these years - that wouldn't be the case if she was just one of his many admirers), and resented HZ for ruining things with her. But he's described as "using bright appearance, gentle heart to hide the darkness of his desire for power," which makes it sound like HZ was right that he's bad news. I don't know whether to ship him with SN or not lol.

@ s.c....kang xi's promotion was definitely a flop for this drama...I hardly hear from the cast.  btw, kang xi is ending their show after 12 years?  Kang quit and Xi decided the same...

I am not aware that Alice, Joanne and Harry went on a cooking show...in fact I was looking for a cooking show by Roy and found an old one where he was promoting another drama many years ago.  From what I know Roy is a good cook in real life...so just wanted to indulge myself in him but unfortunately he was not in the promotion of the drama with the other 3 leads in the cooking programme.

I really get to like Roy even better after watching his long interview.  I find his humble beginnings make him even more attractive as a resilient person.

Thanks for the title for episode 4! I really appreciate it.  It really is weird that those titles doesn't show up in the subbed version but in the raw version it's there.

I wanted to buy the physical album since the songs are really good! My personal favorites are Imperfect Heartbeat and Linger On. But all in all, all the songs are really good and I wish they would release the instrumentals they used as well.

I love each and every heartbreaking scene they showed in the 20 minute preview.

It makes me wonder what happens for it to come to that heartbreaking scene.

You guys would really be my saviour and Santa if you subbed the 20 minute preview. It would be a totally cool Christmas gift for someone who is really crazy about this drama.

I said I would watch Office Girls if Dramafever made Marry Me, or Not? available for me. Since the copies I could find for the other drama is not good. I read the recaps and saw screenshots and dang! Roy Chiu is such a pretty boy there. They look so young!

Just like what @nefariouskat has said, it could be because she feel betrayed by Hao Meng. I know that she used it as well to take revenge on Sheng Nan but she ended it before she get too much in love with him. She knows it; that she was falling in love and with Hao Meng telling her that he's falling in love with her as well it was a slap for her to find out that he's actually related to Sheng Nan. She could have thought that he only said it to her to make her fall for him and well take revenge. What she really want was for someone to fall in love with her: for who she is. And she thought Hao Meng is that guy. Remember that's the reason she accepted Lin Shu Long's proposal because in that proposal he said that he will marry her despite her being imperfect.

As for Jiang Qian Yue, since not much was revealed about him I don't know as well but I have this feeling that he actually likes Hao Sheng Nan since college days. But I could be wrong as well since he's described as someone who masks his desire for power really well.

@xiashenghan.... I don't know how to insert subs but I can do translation for you where possible.   I was just thinking if I translate his interview for you....how to show which frame is the translation for?  I have not gotten it figure out yet.

In episode 6, when Cai Huan Zhen was sleeping on the sofa and Hao Meng came home he was contemplating wether her actions are sincere or not right? Then when she woke up, she was clearly happy to see him and asked if he already ate since she prepared dinner for them. Then he said he did and will call a taxo to send her home. I know she looks disappointed since he's being cold.

When they were outside and he was sending him off, why did Cai Huan Zhen asked Hao Meng if he doesn't have anything to say to her? And when he jusy said "Be careful on your way home." she looked disappointed. Was it maybe she wants him to say to her not to leave?

I think she was hoping that Justin will ask her to stay? After all, they were so lovey dovey in the morning and suddenly, the cold front.

1. She thought he might want her to stay since he was injured

2. Due to his coldness she might think he has something to talk about as he appeared reluctant to let her go in the morning....curiosity about his sudden change?

Yeah, I know that there will be a lot of angst from watching the 20min trailer, but I guess I just never really expected the revelation of HM's identity to be that big of an impact. I know HZ will probably get upset when she finds out HM's real identity, but I think I never expected her to have such a big reaction (i.e. losing faith in love and deciding to be with Jiang Qian Yao to excel in her career)... From watching the trailer, I actually thought the angst was the result of HM's mother and Jiang Qian Yao's tactics so when I read the spoiler, it kind of threw me off haha!  But yeah, like @Gwinna said, I guess I'll understand better when I actually watch the scene, but I do think what you and @xiashenghan had explained makes sense as well. I can totally understand why HZ would feel betrayed or played on by the Hao siblings. I think I just got a little worried that things were going to become messier or more complicated than it should be. But we'll see. I still love love love the drama dearly !

Gosh, I can't wait for the angst scene with HZ and HM! When I watched the 20min trailer, just watching HZ cry broke my heart!! I also think it has something to do with the mother , which was why I thought HM's mom was one of the major players creating all this angst in the drama. But we shall see :)!

I think the spoiler kind of explains the scene with HZ and SN. That scene was definitely one of the scenes I was kind of confuse with when I was watching it. It seemed so out of place from what I was thinking, but I guess these 20min trailer are just there to kind of trick you into thinking that the drama will be a certain way from how they cut and order the scenes haha.

Yup, the three of them went on a cooking show to promote the drama. Were you able to find the link? If not, I will try to find it and post it here for you. I have heard that Roy can cook from different articles or interviews, but I haven't been able to find a show where I actually see him cooking so for me it was such a pity that he didn't appear in that particular show. But it was still a fun to watch without him :).

@S.C. I know right! When i see Roy's teary eyes in the trailer, it's so heart wrenching!! I can't wait to find out what happened! The director is good! Just the trailer, he is able to edit it so well that it captivates everyone.

Haha, the subbing for the trailer is almost done too! i should be able to finish it by tonight. The show must be interesting enough for me to do it so fast

In the one-to-one interview with Roy, one of the question was the most challenging part for MMoN. He mentioned that there's a scene whereby CHZ was being accused of breaking the law and he had to say all the technical law terms in front of the reporters.

I wonder what this is about.

@xiashenghan..  hey chingu...I was crazy enough to cut out the press con 20 min trailer and sub it on the video itself....  but dang!!  Alas, while loading, youtube does not allow me to load a video greater than 15 mins without verifying.   I do not wish to verify as I hardly have any large videos to post.

So, do you want me to email you the video instead and if you hv a verified youtube account, you can load for everyone to enjoy.  Perhaps you can pm me an email address to send the video too... hopefully this can work..  

I was using this to test if I could sub for the interview with Roy which was 1 hour long!!!   Gosh....just 20 mins of subbing.....it took me so long to get all the technical stuff right into the video..   Think much easier to just do translation...Phew....

or anyone knows where I can upload a 22 min long video without any technical glitch?
