Oh my, but how romantic is DY? He couldn't take MJ home but he took pictures of the license plates of the taxis that he sent her home in. Those pictures were so precious to him because they represented her, that when he lost his phone with those pictures he panicked.  So sweet!!

Ah...finally watched it. I avoided spoilers today. I even avoided this thread like a plague. 

I wasn't satisfied with ep 13, except for the last 10minutes. 

What is up with the PPL yo? Com'on. It was wayyyy too much today. 

Don't even get me started with that car kiss scene which was supposed to be romantic but fell FLAT..why??? Because they had to show us a car that can still move on auto. I literally rolled my eyes till it almost fell out of its sockets. 

Anyway, I hope we get to see what really went on BTW YSJ and the NK dude. 

No one dies, you hear me show? NO ONE!!!

I don't like it either but we have to remember the series took over $10M USD to make and they need to make sure $$ is paid back.  There are huge investments for this drama. 

As annoying as it is, without it they'd have to have sacrificed the quality of the drama.

OMG! This is such a cliffhanger. I just can't wait for tonight (thank god today is thursday) I think i could die waiting if i have to wait another week. I know our captain won't die but i just hope that YSJ won't go coma for long time...

By the way, the rating for last night episode was daebak. It's 35% guyyys...

KBS 2TV drama "Descendants of the Sun" set another record.

 

 

 

According to Nielsen Korea, the thirteenth episode of "Descendants of the Sun" rated 33.5%. It is a 0.5% increase from the previous episode.

 

 

 

Yoo Ah-in made a special appearance in the drama as a banker who Kang Mo-yeon (Song Hye-kyo) talks to for a loan. Yoo Si-jin (Song Joong-ki) however, was shot and moved to the hospital.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, MBC drama "Goodbye Mr. Black" rated 4.6% and SBS "Please Come Back, Mister" rated 2.8%.

The battle has turned into a zero sum game as it heads into the final stretch, with the winner continuing to win and the losers still getting bruised. Episode 13 of Descendants of the Sunbrought in a 33.5% AGB nationwide ratings, with Goodbye Mr. Black steady at 4.6%, but poorPlease Come Bach Ahjusshi dropped yet again to garner a pitiful 2.8% ratings. For a cast packed full of big stars Ahjusshi is netting numbers that are usually reserved for teen high school dramas with niche appeal. With only three episodes left, DotS continues to hold strong but doesn’t show signs of breaking 40% any time soon, if ever. DotS did leave off on a major cliffhanger in today’s episode so there will likely be another bump up tomorrow, but I hope this is the lowest point for Ahjusshi, let that drama finish in peace and hopefully be viewed as a solid drama that happened to be placed in a terrible time slot.

Yoo Ah In made his cameo appearance in the episode, playing not the medical school sunbae who is good at lining up backup girlfriend candidates, but as banking officer processing Mo Yeon’s practice loan application. I doubt his blink and you’ll miss it guest appearance has anything to do with DotS gaining more viewers but it certainly doesn’t hurt, and DotS wouldn’t be a Kim Eun Seok drama without a high profile cameo. I’m just sad his scene didn’t also include Song Joong Ki, that would be so epic and bring back so many feels.

The thing about SJ being shot is it wasn't like he was on the "battlefield". He was acting as security for a meeting with North Korea. Who would have guessed that the North Korean solider would go rogue and plan a suicide mission. That's what he was hinting to when they were eating. 

This just proves the point I was trying to make many pages back, whether he's in the military, a police officer, postal worker, or a school teacher. No employment is completely safe. Both group of soldiers (South and North Korea) were not so much trying to protect their leaders from each other, but from potential protestors/assassins. You never know when someone will snap.  

My heart goes out to MY because the last thing you want to see is your love one fighting for their life in the back of an ambulance.

Mo Yeon's greatest fear..seeing her loved one covered in blood..lying motionlessly on a bed. Those who didn't understand why she took a long time to accept Si Jin..well I hope they do now. Si Jin needs to survive..

YSJ being injured like this will be the acid test for KMY. She has agreed to being with him but she's only seen him win all this time. This is her greatest fear and I have full faith that this KMY who has changed so much will be able to overcome this hurdle as well. She will revive her Captain

Maybe because I've been starving for a good romantic drama that is well written, I have to say that I loved episode 13. I loved the car scene. I was worried about their safety, but I love the way that man looks at her. I hope the two love birds get it together soon.

So far this drama is not disappointing me. It's keeping me very interested. I love the second lead couple scenes just as much as the lead couple scenes.

I too hope no one dies.

ews still really breaks my heart  Idk why I'm so into next episodes !!! Thank God, its tonight! . I still have faith on KES! I want to know how she write the story for MY to save SJ! We have to list down again the scene which we haven't seen yet. So that we know SJ will still alive until the end of the story . ahh its makes me sad everytime I think about next week~~

the ending for ep 13 is shocking and heartbreaking. how MY need to do to overcome her fear????her fear is really happen....

the new ost is damn good.....it blend really well with the last scene. 

both writer for this drama deserve a thumb upp.....it lovestory but still fun ,happy and sad in their own way 

tonight ep will be heartbreaking to see...the new still of MY crying is too sad.
