*** Im Siwan has suddenly been embroiled in a dating rumor with Kang Hye Won, a former member of IZ*ONE based on a couple of pictures. On September 28, an online post titled “Suspicions about Actor Im Siwan and Kang Hye Won Dating” caught the attention of online communities. It included a picture of a man and a woman, allegedly the two stars in concern, walking together. In another photo, the pair can be seen sitting side by side at a BBQ restaurant as they happily sign something for two children. However, these pictures could well be from a project they might be filming. As it turns out, they have been cast in a series, "Boyhood", in the main roles. The two actors were signing autographs for the child actors in the BBQ restaurant while having a meal with the whole crew during the filming.

*** On October 5th,  Kwanghee’s best friends Lee Joon, Jung Yong-hwa, and Yoon Doo-joon appeared as guests on his YouTube show.  In the show, he explained why he unfollowed Jung Yong-hwa And Im Si-wan and his other friends. Lee Joon, Jung Yong-hwa, and Yoon Doo-joon used to form “Wedding Boys” to help Kwanghee in MBC’s “Infinite Challenge” and “Wedding Singers” specials. Kwanghee said Im Si-wan was the first one to be unfollowed, making who were there laugh. He said, “His followers are going to increase so much after “Squid Game 2″. How should I compete with that? You guys don’t know that pain all the time. New K-dramas Returning With Spin-Off & Sequel: ‘Strong Girl Namsoon,’ ‘Hospital Playlist,’ More

Broadcast networks and streaming platforms are gearing up with amazing new K-dramas set to air in October 2023.

 

Interestingly, some of them include much-awaited sequels and spin-offs of fan-favorite K-dramas.

 

If you happen to love a certain K-drama, it's usual to look for season 2 of that particular show; however, some networks and platforms take months or even years to release a sequel.

 

On the other hand, there are some who chose to release a spin-off instead of a new season. The difference is that the spin-off of the show tends to introduce new characters, while the sequel is the continuation of the original show.

 

As we dive deep into new K-dramas, here are the shows returning with a sequel or spin-off.

 

 

'Squid Game' Season 2

The list of K-dramas with season 2 will not be complete without the blockbuster K-drama "Squid Game."

***  I'm done watching his movie, "Unlocked". The pacing was good and the story delivered an unexpected twist in the end. I felt the creeps all the way through because a woman's phone is hacked with destructive consequences. This movie tries to educate us about that issue while presenting a relatable piece of narrative that could happen to anyone, which is the most frightening aspect of the film. Our love hate relationship with the mobile phone is here to stay, so let's handle it with care at all times. The story starts after someone returns her lost phone, she takes it to a cell phone shop for a broken screen repair and makes a big mistake of writing her password on a piece of paper when the shop owner requests it. The shop owner side-loads the spying software, which allows him to see her through her phone's camera and mirrors her phone screen onto one of his phones. The disadvantages with the technology where one's privacy can be easily intruded upon is captured well. The plot had so much to offer, though. What's important is the movie tells possible dangers if you lose your smartphone. I think the movie is good, quite unique and goes well with modern day technology, which can come true in the reality as well. Siwan here is in a total opposite role of what I have seen him do in the past (nice-guy roles). It would be good if the show explained his reason for doing all that., though.

Versatile K-actors Ok Taecyeon, Im Siwan, and more established a lasting impression after playing the role of a psychopath.

 

Psychopath characters is challenging to give life to. The actors must immerse themselves in the dark persona and convey the character's emotions and identity to bring them to life.

 

Despite their battles between the good and the bad, as required by their roles, viewers can't help but admire these Korean stars who made outstanding performances through their evil persona.

Im Siwan is indeed good at playing villain roles!

 

After "Emergency Declaration," the actor headlined the Netflix film "Unlocked," where viewers despised his character, proving his incredible acting.

 

He took the role of Jun Yeong, a murderous stalker who found the phone of a female stranger and returned it to her after installing spyware to track everything that she did.
