Im Siwan’s new drama “Tracer” (literal title) has revealed a first glimpse of the star in character!

“Tracer” is a new wavve original drama about revenge with the setting of the National Tax Service. Im Siwan will star as Hwang Dong Joo, a new team manager of the Seoul Regional Office’s Investigation Bureau, while Go Ah Sung will star as Seo Hye Young, a fellow team member at the Seoul Regional Office who is unafraid to face the cowardly world head-on.

Son Hyun Joo will play In Tae Joon, the commissioner of the Seoul Regional Office who dreams of becoming something bigger, and Park Yong Woo will play Oh Young, a workaholic office manager.

The new stills show Im Siwan’s transformation into a new type of character he has never portrayed before. While in a stand-off with someone at the National Tax Service, Im Siwan looks comfortable but wears a tough facial expression as the intense and shameless team manager Hwang Dong Joo. Another photo shows Im Siwan focused on an investigation as he looks intently at something, raising viewers’ anticipation to find out the full story.

“Tracer” will premiere through wavve sometime this winter.

*** ISW fans sent him a coffee truck on the set. He updated his Instagram with some new photos on November 4. On this snack truck, it said, "You don't have to make any payments, just wish for the drama 'Tracer' to make a great hit and enjoy the snacks."  There was also a photo that he uploaded on his Instagram in the past. The photo showed him  holding his camera up high above his head to take a photo of the food on the table. Under this photo, fans wrote, "Take photos like this to show us you enjoyed our snacks. From your fans."  (see below) - Hahaha - he was seen trying to take photos just like how his fans told him to from the second floor of a building out the window.

The teaser pans to Seo Hye Young, who stubbornly takes on the world. She proudly claims, “I told you to trust in me once.”

Son Hyun Joo plays In Tae Joon, the commissioner of the Seoul Regional Office who dreams of becoming something bigger. He charismatically proclaims, “In the end, it’s a game of deceiving or being deceived.”

Finally, the skilled team manager Hwang Dong Joo, who always keeps people on the edges of their toes, appears. He asks, “It’s people who are scarier than money in the end, right?” The teaser ends with the four main characters continuing to walk forward as Hwang Dong Joo narrates, “Nationally certified experts who chase bad money are coming.”
