Hi! Wonderful to see you too! How could I miss a chance to watch another drama of YC's before he enlists, right? Based on the character description, I was expecting someone serious like Han Tae Kyung, but totally surprised to see a funnier side of him from the teaser. Similarity to HTK? You mean him warning the bad guys they could get hurt? Actually he reminded me a little of Yoon Bowon because of the police outfit  SSK's character is also unexpectedly tongue-in-cheek and funny, considering her background story. As for whether she will be a better character compared to Yoon Bowon, hard to tell for now... since they appear to be very different in character. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

@liddi....Have U finished ur "homework" (watching previous ChunNi's dramas) ? hehehe....I think Choi Mu Gak has 30% of Han Tae Kyung (the seriousness), 30% of Han Jung Woo from Missing You (for the funny part) and 40% of Mu Gak himself that we don't know yet. LOL...

Yup, that warning....his voice remind me when Tae Kyung warning his friend to guard Bo Won, hehhee...that "I will kill you if you do something stupid". XD

[PRELUDE] THE GIRL WHO SEES SMELLS

FINALLY, We get a RomCom from

ChunNi after a melodrama n a politic, action thriller drama that (I think) are

not everyone cup of tea. Usually after he had a drama, we often to say what

kind of genre we want he take on his next drama project. There were many kind

of genre/character but still the winner is a RomCom. I think a RomCom is a

genre that (most of) everyone like. A light drama that can make Us smile &

laugh n can make Us forget a little of our hard day. XD

I’m not understate SKKS & Ripley but I think

RTP that truly propelled him to rising popularity in KDramaland. It’s also not

because I’m a RoofTopers but I think on that drama, it was the 1st time he

became the “leader” (hope U know what I mean) n finally I knew there is an K

Actor whose name is Park Yoo Chun n has many expression n later I knew it

called ChunFace. XD...  Lee Gak is an

interesting character n ChunNi did a good job to portray that character. It’s

nice that the 1st time I knew him was on a RomCom drama n the last drama before

his enlistment also a RomCom. Lee Gak will always be my number 1 so let’s see

if Mu Gak can be my number 2. XD

Kinda surprise to see ChunNi in

uniform pic n SBS even made it as the poster. WOW....hehehe....after  only got that in just a picture in IMU n a short

scene in 3 Days, finally we get that. XD....Think we can imagine it as ChunNi on

his enlistment pic but without that hair. LOL

Shin Se Kyung Looks Adorable as the High School and Grown Up Girl Who Sees Smells

I might end up eating my words but until then I’ll stick with my first impression that Shin Se Kyung looks super cute in character as The Girl Who Sees Smells. The way her character is styled as an adult reminds me so much of Yoona‘s character Nam Da Jung in Prime Minister and I.

Whatever problems that drama devolved into, I’ll always remember it

fondly for changing my opinion of Yoona from ughhhh to awwwww! The

casual chic attire, the slighty mussed up long hair, the oversized bag,

the beanie on her head, all of it combines to give me positive

associations which doesn’t happen much when it comes to Shin Se Kyung.

Also helps that I found her last drama performance in Iron Man

not bad, though I didn’t manage to stick it through until the end to

see if she maintained the low key charm all the way. So far so good for

Smelly Girl not turning me off by casting Shin Se Kyung.

The production released two sets of new

stills for her character in Smelly Girl, in addition to her grown up

version she also has to play the high school girl who is normal before

the incident that gives her the smelly supernatural ability. Shin Se

Kyung definitely still pulls off being a high school student just fine

and looks quite cute in a school uniform.

Park Yuchun has swept Newcomer Awards at

the Korean Film Critics Association Awards, Daejong Film Awards, Blue

Dragon Film Awards, Busan Film Critics Association Awards, and etc.

in the past year, for perfectly tackling his role as Dong-shik, the

youngest sailor in his 2014’s film debut project ‘Haemoo/Sea Fog’.

A SBS drama official said, “There are

very rarely cases where one receives awards for what one acted in; yet

Park Yuchun-ssi has been gaining recognition from broadcasters, film

experts, viewers, and audiences, while showing an abundance of acting

abilities in what he’s acted in,” and, “To get to be honored with an

award once again, there’s interests in him”.

Meanwhile, ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells’ is

the collaboration between writer Lee Hee-myung who wrote ‘Rooftop

Prince’ and director Baek Soo-chan who directed ‘Golden Bride’. Besides

Park Yuchun, Shin Se-kyung, Namgoong Min, and Yoon Jin-seo appearing;

there is Kim So-hyun, gagman Jung Chan-woo, Kim Byung-wook, Lee

Won-jong, Jo Hee-bong and others. The drama is visiting the main rooms

of viewers at 10 pm every Wednesdays and Thursdays, from April 1.
