Bakuman Live Action Blu-Ray and DVD release date revealed!!

Bakuman an Anime dedicated to all Mangakas, their life, their hard work got a live action movie adaptation and Bakuman live action movie was released in 2015. Fans in Japan, China and all other countries have termed Bakuman as the best live action movie ever.
Those who didn’t get the chance to see this movie in theaters, those who are waiting patiently for the DVD&Blu-Ray, for them i have one good news!! You just have to wait two and half months!!

A Facebook page has revealed that the DVD&Blue-Ray discs for the movie will be released on April 20, 2016.

Mashiro Moritaka’s role is played by Takeru Satoh who played Himura Kenshin’s role in the live action movie of Rurouni Kenshin and Takagi Akito’s role is played by Ryunosuke kamiki who played role of Seta soujiro from Rurouni kenshin live action movie – Kyoto inferno and The legend ends.
Bakuman Live Action Movie Synopsis

Moritaka Mashiro (Takeru Satoh) doesn’t want to follow in the path of his uncle who worked as a manga artist, but ultimately died because of exhaustion. Moritaka Mashiro figures he will graduate from school and work at an office. Things change though when falls in love with a girl at school. The girl, who hopes to become a voice actress, tells Moritaka they can marry, but only after they both achieve their dreams. Moritaka then teams up with fellow classmate Akito Takagi (Ryunosuke Kamiki) to publish their first manga.

Nominations for the tenth AFAs were unveiled Wednesday in Hong Kong. It was also revealed that celebrated Hong Kong director Johnnie To will head the jury.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Thursday March 18 at the Venetian hotel in Macau.

For the last couple of years the AFAs have been jointly backed by the Hong Kong, Tokyo and Busan festivals, under the banner of the Asian Film Awards Academy.

Organizers reported that the academy received nearly 1,600 film submissions from 32 counties, before selecting the finalists. They announced 77 nominations, spanning 36 titles from 9 territories.

New this year is an additional award for best sound. Contenders include “Monster Hunt,” “The Assassin,” “Bakuman,”, The Inerasable,” and Korea’s “assassination.”

The "First Annual Japan Film Festival" in Korea unveiled a preview of its full line-up

The "First Annual Japan Film Festival" in South Korea (JFF) which will be held at the CGV cinemas nationwide this coming March 3 to 16, 2016 has released their main trailer. The film festival will have three sections, the "classic section", the "blockbuster section" and for the first time, a special theme concept called the "manga section". The full line-up of films in each section will surely attract attention.

Four films were selected in the "manga section" of the film festival, these are "Bakuman", "No Longer Heroine" (Heroine Shikkaku), "Piece of Cake" and "Cats Don't Come When You Call". The curiousity of manga and movie fans has been stimulated and their expectations have heightened.  A trailer that features its entire lineup has been unveiled.

The opening movie of the festival is "Bakuman". The film adaptation of the popular manga as well as its stellar cast has made the Korean movie fans anticipate its release. In particular, "Bakuman" has attracted attention because it is headed by young stars namely, Takeru Sato, Kamiki Ryunosuke, Shota Sometani and Nana Komatsu, in addition to the character actors like Lily Franky, Takayuki Yamada and Kankurō Kudō.

The entries in the "First Annual Japan Film Festival" will be screened in CGV cinemas in Seoul, Bundang, Daegu, Cheonan, Gwangju and Busan from March 3 to 16, 2016.

In line with the screening of the film "Bakuman" starting today, Feb. 13 until the 26th, visitors of Meguro cinema where the movie will be shown, may take a commemorative photo while posing with an oversized G pen and cutter like those used in the movie.

The world of manga has been reproduced by the staff at the lobby of Meguro Cinema, where the movie "Bakuman" will be screened starting today, Feb. 13, 2016. Visitors can pose for a commemorative photo with an oversized G pen and cutter just like the people wearing berets at the last 3 pictures.

The limited first press Blu-ray and DVD Deluxe editions will have bonuses such as a 160-page ultra-luxurious booklet featuring Takeshi Obata’s drawings of the 5 fictional mangas from “Bakuman” namely, “Crow”, “Money and Intelligence”, “Otters 11”, “Kiyoshi Knight” and “How To Make Delicious Gyoza” and a sticker of the “Superhero Legend Bakuman”. Ichiro Yamaguchi, the frontman of Sakanaction received the Best music award for the movie "Bakuman" at the 39th Japan Academy Prize. Sakanaction provided the movie's theme song which is entitled "Shin Takarajima". The award was presented in a ceremony today, March 4, 2016 at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo.
