Diaz - who recently starred in comedy Sex Tape - previously hosted in 1998, 2002 and 2005.
Woody Harrelson and Kendrick Lamar have signed on for the November 15 show.
Chris Rock took over Saturday Night Live last weekend (November 1), in which musical guest Prince performed an eight-minute medley.
