Press release for upcoming drama <Punch> was held at SBS office building in Yangcheon District, Seoul on December 11. Kim Rae-won, Kim A-Joong, Jo Jae-hyun, Choi Myung-gil, On Joo-wan, Seo Ji-hye, Park Hyuk-kwon and producer Lee Myung-woo participated.

Drama <Punch> is a legal drama that tells a story of a prosecutor who has been living a tough life. It will also portray heated battle of a man and a woman who fight against injustice and corruption.

Kim Rae-won appears as a prosecutor named ‘Park Jung-hwan.’ He said, “I’ve just finished filming my upcoming movie. I was little worried at first because I have never appeared as a prosecutor before. But, director really helped me a lot. I will do my best to show great acting for this drama.”

Kim Rae-won also said, “I decided to appear in this drama because I really liked synopsis. I liked the script as well. I also wanted to challenge myself for new character that I have never played. Most of all, I am a big fan of writer Park Kyung-soo.”“It’s been a 10 years to work with Jo Jae-hyun since drama <Snow Man>. I compete with him this time,” he added.

Producer Lee Myung-woo said, “Kim Rae-won made drama comeback in a long time. I saw his picture from <Gangnam 1970>, which he recently finished. He looks stunning in the picture.”“I wanted an authentic actor to take on the role of ‘Park Jung-hwan.’ Kim Rae-won is now very skinny. He tries to lose his weight because his character is terminally ill. He is such an endeavorer.’

1^st episode of SBS’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama <Punch> airs at 10 p.m. on December 15.

Kim A-Joong appears as a beautiful and righteous woman named, ‘Shin Ha-kyung,’ It is her long-awaited drama as well.

Producer Lee Myung-woo said, “Kim A-Joong is lovelier than I thought. She is like an adorable cat. He also has accurate pronunciation and very talented at expressing emotion. Her character is the most righteous prosecutor who always seeks for justice. I also thought her innocent image matched this character.”

Kim A-Joong also said, “Competition between characters were very interesting to me. Relationship of Park Jung-hwan and Lee Tae-joon is also very special. I and Kim Rae-won always fight but, I feel the spark between us in the drama. I will express the emotion well.”

Jo Jae-hyun stated, “I really liked the story of writer Park Kyung-soo’s previous drama <The Chaser>. When I saw the drama, I really wanted to appear in his drama. I am so glad to work with him for this drama.”“Strength of this drama is that it focuses on each character. I think people will like it, too.”

Park Hyuk-kwon said, “I move to a new house next year. So, I had to make money. That’s why I decided to appear in this drama without hesitation,” causing a round of laughter.
Jo Jae-hyun promised, “When I was on the radio a few days ago, a listener asked me if I could be on air wearing only underwear when this drama gets the 20 % ratings. So, I said I would wear shorts. Kim Rae-won will be together with me.”

Kim Ah-joong Returns to TV in Legal Drama

Actress Kim Ah-joong will return to TV for the first time in four years as a prosecutor with a strong sense of justice in SBS' new legal drama "Punch - Drama". 

Kim is reportedly full of enthusiasm for the new drama, and is diligently studying her character. 

Kim's management agency Namoo Actors said, "Kim is a versatile actress and is capable of doing a wide range of roles in a variety of genres not just romantic comedy". 

The show deals with the power struggle between prosecutors who want to bring justice to light and those who try to use their power for their own interests.

It will start airing next Monday.

I'm totally in love with this drama ! I didnt want the episode to end, it's been a while since I have that kind of feeling when I watch something. 
Love the Kim Rae Won versus Kim Ah Joong  (sorry I havent learn their characters names) scenes that I dont want them to be nice with each other yet. Cant wait for subs! And cant wait for ep 2! 
I hope the show will hit 20 % ... Is it too soon to say ? ^^
