So watched the first two episodes...enjoying this cute little show...already enjoying the doctor friend...first thing he asks was about Bom!? I do enjoy the artist but still iffy on the selfish family. Absolutely love the spirit granny.
As far as ki joon is concerned i think it will be a simple misunderstanding, but got a feeling that momma will try to set up younger daughter with him as she tried to in episode 2. But i do agree there was something trace amount but something between kijoon/bom.

Btw its good to see you again @maddymappo

@Triton823   Good to see you too.
There is a Cinderella kind of feel to this show. The Grandma is like the Fairy Godmother. Maybe Bom isn't her Mom's birth daughter. The Mom treats her like she is not her own child.  Who is the Prince Charming? Probably the guy who lost his artwork? or her first love the rich Doctor?  Somehow linking up with the Doctor over the struggling artist doesn't feel right. I guess we will see.

The thing about the doctor is whatever happened bom thinks he probably hates her but from what ive seen its totally opposite so yes there is that misunderstanding. As to the young artist i get a younger bro vibe from him and nothing more. As to bom not being her daughter i think the spirit granny already answered that; that bom is bio related to the rest of her family. Interesting take with Cinderella because ultimately she winds up with the prince who in this case is the doctor.

Liked the second episode, though it sort of lacked humor compared to the first episode. (And one-third of this episode has not been subbed, but at least the situations were comprehensible)

So KJ has shown up. Wow he really turned out just as how I described him in my earlier posts xD Ehh, he's sort of boring, it's true when they say that opposites attract.

There was one part that irked me and it was where the writer unnecessarily displayed "KJ's upright side." As how @maddymappo‌ said, I think that the writer is seriously racially prejudiced. I know how most of the viewers tend to be stereotypical (thanks to the dramas) and it upsets me to think that they may get the idea that American men are crude.

Our unclassy Cinderella, Bom, is gonna get rid of her perms in the next episode! She's trying to fix her appearance for KJ! Guess she's already forgotten about how KJ stood her up. (Deliberately or unintentionally, no one knows. I think it will be revealed on the next episode)

This drama just makes me happy , warm and fuzzy inside. Loved how Bomi had to fight against SNS rumors!

But why do I have a feeling that SooChul is going to fall in love with Bomi and have a one sided love in the next episode!

The Doctor is such a nice person and I'm confused if he is interested in Bomi or not!

Please, pm me where I can watch it subbed except Viki (it has only 30% for the 2nd episode now)… Or maybe read recaps… Love the show but lack of translation leaves me confused sometimes. Do you guys watch it raw? Thanks for any suggestions!

@Triton823: Perhaps I did not say it too clearly the doctor seems a bit preoccupied and is holding back  a little unlike the kdrama heroes I have seen so far (what do I know I started this year to watch kdramas). I never meant to say he has antagonistic feelings towards her.

I also felt a bit funny with that telephone call he got  at the end of the episode, but there was no ominous music so maybe he was just talking to his cousin. I'm not trying to villainize him but maybe I'm biased towards SooChul!

Never thought you mean antagonistic what i mean was there was no bad feelings between them in fact Bomi is still very much in love with the doctor and the doctor has shown his interested in her because he keeps asking about her. Now i can see the cartoonist and the friend getting together in fact it seems that they will. Btw @angelbeast90...glad you got onboard with kdramas been watching them for years!

After watching the ending of the 3rd episode KJ seems absolutely uninterested in romantic relationship with Bom, he talks to her like to a child  :-< Looks like the writers worked their best to give us this impression… I am sad and hope he will fall for her later. I really want him to be a male lead, but now I have a bad feeling about it.

The writer has managed to be able to hide who be the otp but my money is banking on the doctor. Under normal circumstances the kdrama rule states that first loves is never the otp but thats for daily or revenge type drama. This drama reminds me of mermaid princess that was simply awesome in everyway, but hopefully they wont cancel this drama and screw this on up as well.

I hope I'm not offending someone by saying this but I feel as if Doctor KJ is a feminist and also that's what I thought when he defended those women's cleavage at a restaurant from those obnoxious foreigners. I also suddenly thought wow he is so fluent in English! I felt the way he treats Bomi is also in accordance with that. He does not like Bomi walking around alone in the dark, but I would have been happier if he took it one notch higher and insisted he escort her to her home. Then again he let her walk home independently and asked her to call him as soon as she arrived at home.

Also his date with , at the restaurant he was all waiting for her to take some selca's of the food and made an assumption that she would want to follow that trend too. But one thing is for sure I like the way he smiles at Bomi and that he did not take offense when Bomi straight forward asked him out.

I better shut up now because I'm team SC!

There was also that news experiment about the "10 Hours of walking in Seoul as a Woman:"  at the back of my mind while I wrote all this.
