16 Oct – Making her comeback to television through the small screen adaptation of Mo Yan's "Red Sorghum", Zhou Xun expressed her hopes that the original cast and director of the 1987 film will be watching it as well.Mingpao News reported that the actress, who attended the premiere of "Red Sorghum" recently, stated that she had no intention to challenge Gong Li's original portrayal of the character Jiu Er."Comparisons are inevitable, but I think movies and television itself are different from each other," said Zhou.
