i'm watching as @Sleepy Owl has suggested the series, and at first it's hard to get into the series due to the worldbuilding, but now I already watched 7 episodes and ongoing

 

there are some plotholes, though, but i imagine those always exist when the world includes MAGIC

Started watching an older Thai lakorn called Candle In The Sun as I clicked on it randomly while browsing on a streaming site, and to my surprise Pon oppa is in the opening scene of the drama.

 

 

I am surprised and happy until I see that he has a cane in his hand and is hitting with it a poor girl  tied to a tree until she vomits blood, all the while he is screaming at her.

 

Pon oppa! What are you doing???!?!?!

 

Bad Pon oppa!

don't worry. the webtoon is very good, it has no romance AND this is a jtbc production for netflix.

Also, update: Pon oppa was playing an actor in the opening scene - they were filming a drama.

Looks like Pon oppa is playing a good character.

Chingu, I had a mood swing too!

 

Suddenly this drama turned horror with CGI monsters appearing from nowhere while FL is sleeping. I literally jumped out of my chair. That's how startled I was.

 

Thank goodness horror drama expert @Sleepy Owl dongsaeng was there to help me overcome the first shock.

 

I just can't with horror dramas. They scare the living daylights out of me.
