@Min2206 don't the tofu taste bland. I normally put in stew pork and eggs with 1 pc of cinnamon.

 

@sadthe1st the fried Tofu is nice to dip in chili sauce but since you can't take spicy, then dip into your kewpie mayo.

Surprisingly not @Thong Thin - before frying, i heat the oil with tinge of salt (just a bit).   The tofu absorbed the oil will have that salty bit flavour and the fried soy bean taste.   It's really flavourful - nice!    And they can be kept outside for few hours or refrigerated next day, to go with stew or braised vege.

Have not tried mapo tofu with brinjals - looks good.    Vege curry looks thick with coco milk.  How was it?
