Hey there Chingus 

 

So here are my submissions for the Event (again as EO, we can just submit, but cannot participate). 

 

1. Tweak My Oppa

 

So for this one, as you all know, I don't really have an Oppa, but still, I chose this specific guy, since I wanted to tweak him. I just did this for fun, so I hope no one feels bad about it 

 

Presenting you, "Cardboard Oppa".

 

 

2. Tweak a drama poster (your favorite k-drama and/or favorite ship)

 

Well, I don't really have had any ships in Kdramas from what I remember. So I skipped that one, but I did tweak 2 posters here. So presenting you 

 

1. Princes taking Christmas Celebration Too seriously (and St. Patrick's Day too maybe) 

 

 

2. And they never saw it coming....

 

 

 

 

3) Category 3 - Tweak the picture below

@Min2206, @sadthe1st Chingus, I had first added the Robot face there (since Robots are expressionless too) and used this poster instead. 

 

 

But then since this is an older drama, plus Sageuk, not many would have watched it as @partyon suggested, and she also suggested to use cardboard face instead 

 

This is the second image with the Robot face 

 

 

But, nothing would beat the cardboard face used there

@larus have u tried tamarind candy before?

 

@Min2206 the tamarind pods are nicer but, i hate the seeds and the pod husks lol so i still to the roundish ones.

I have not tried those from the pods ... candies yes .. can be quite addictive.

I don't have a specific recipe but my plan is to use the meringue recipe from BBC Food (it has very good reviews + a "how to" video):

Then for the filling, I plan on using 200 ml of cream + 100g of mascarpone cheese + icing sugar. But if you don't have mascarpone, you can totally use 300 ml cream instead (like the recipe suggests).

 

Slices of mango on top, some passion fruit pulp and maybe some mint leaves. I might switch out the mint leaves for edible flowers instead. Depends on my mood.
