I think they will win Top Excellence category. I have to see a day when someone from a lower rating drama wins over someone from a highest rating drama. We all know that everyone nominated for the Grand prize had a good performance. TV networks are thanking their succesful dramas. For Daesang it has to be performance + ratings to win.  But we`ll see.

Right, I also don't remember when a person has won from a lower rating drama. Let's hope the underrated dramas do get the recognition they deserve too

I had to laugh when I saw how MBC split the category. Mon -Tue drama, Wed-Thu drama... All right. everyone has to receive something.

 

Daesang for MBC is from televoting. The winners in all major category is a potential winner and the public decides who will get the grand prize. Sometime the most popular actor can win or someone who made a very strong impression to win the audience.

They have done this for some years now I guess, or maybe it was another network. But yeah, they want everyone to receive something.

Popularity will play a bigger role here I believe, followed by the impression as you mentioned.

I am not sure. I have to check my list of dramas I watched this year. I have to make that list first.  I still don`t know how many I watched.

I can`t tell. I watch dramas that sound interesting. Sometime I chose only for the actors but that is rare.

I think I will make a list of my 2020 dramas that I watched and see from which network they belong. Who has more favorite dramas will win.
