@partyon

Pretty much alone back then and then DYLB aired, so was busy in that thread. :D

You're talking so much about it, I feel like it is airing EVERY day.... :D
How many more weeks to go?

Did you finish Secret ep 1 and 2 yet btw? :kiss_wink:

EDIT: put some polls up in the Innocent Man and Secret threads.

Granted I'm active in that thread almost everyday. :D

I will finish episode 2 later today and then write down my thoughts.

Awesome! It's actually pretty interesting to watch both dramas at the same time, because there are a lot of common themes in them.

So many thoughts overlap when I am watching the episodes.

Many of the questions I put into the polls could have been suitable for both dramas actually. :kiss_wink:

Hence why I didn't participate in the poll yet. :D Need to finish the episode first. kkk

I mean both are revenge melodramas, so it makes sense they have similar tropes and motifs.

Definitely!

:coolshades:

After I finish Empress Ki, I will need a light and fluffy drama - I have too many revenge dramas on my plate....

Are you still going strong with METS?

Also, I just realized yesterday that Ji Sung has never filmed a sageuk? Isn't that right?

No, but I think some actors just fit contemporary genres better.

But I have to correct myself. Ji Sung actually did a couple of sageuks. The recent one was a movie called "Feng Shui" (with Moon Chae Won as part of the cast as well). And he did some older sageuks like "The Great Seer" and "The King's Woman". :D

Please explain yourself chingu - what do you mean that certain actors just fit contemporary genres better? :D

Oppa! :heart3:

It's hard to describe. Like I feel like some actors have an aura which just fits sageuks well. And then there are actors who look very modern, so it's difficult to imagine them being in sageuk. Maybe that's just me though.

If I think of Ji Sung, I mostly think of contemporary dramas. Which is why I probably for the few sageuks he did. :)

A beard does not suit oppa!

BUT he looked really cute in The Great Seer! :kiss_wink:
