@LSGLMH_88 L&D is nothing like Peach Blossoms. The only similarity is the setting is in heaven.... L&D reminds me of The Journey of Flower though....

Btw, majority of ladies here are talking about gaining weight because of stress. I always the opposite, the more stressful I am the skinnier I become. When I was pregnant with my youngest, I was skinny as heck because of depression. I can even lost plenty of weight due to angsty drama.... I totally lost my appetite when under pressure

My goodness, is that Kim Soo hyun??? Waahhhhhh. The cameos in this show is no joke. They got all big people. Hahaha. I'm looking forward to all the ruckus our military squad is going to cause in the south, it's going to be hilarious. 2 weeks is such a long time. Sighhhh.

@triplemI do not like RomComs. :D And it's different if a drama has romantic elements, but wraps into a slice of life story or the drama is just about cheesy lines, a superficial story and lot of Kdrama tropes. :D

The Package is a slice of life drama with romantic elements, yes!

I think it’s strictly business cause they say they all do it for money etc. Maybe got a bit of spark but official. :)

Pedodontics is a wonderful branch I don't know why people are not preferring it. We can play with children and become children again. LOL.

Kokodus....trust me when I say there’s a BIG reason why people don’t go there...children are the most difficult of patients.  Even babies are easier... because they don’t fight back or resist.  Negotiating with a tantrum prone toddler is worse than negotiating with a terrorist.

What you have said (in bold) is the romanticized KDrama version of pedodontics.  The reality is more like this

1. they won’t open their mouth or hold it open long enough for you to do anything.  This will mean you may have to sedate them to do anything.

2. they would cry and scream at you (and their parents would be increasingly annoyed that you aren’t competent because they are stressed too - which could result in them yelling at you too)

3. you would have to talk to parents/grandparents who aren’t doing the “right thing” by letting their children stay on the bottle for too long (rotting teeth), too much candy and sweet drinks etc...and they would get all defensive

4. children bite and scratch...they do...hard to believe but they do...especially when they are scared...and you are in close proximity because that’s the part of the body you’re working on.

I am not saying don’t do it but you need to make that decision based on reality or you will find yourself disappointed in the long run.

@triplem, I've just started watching Chocolate, but don't think I can go on. Between being sad for the leads already combined with food porn to make me hungry, so far, that's 2 strikes. :(

There are some touching & angsty moments but they are not really that bad. There is something hopeful about the drama in spite of its rather depressing setting . The food porn is rather therapeutic for me as it will be for the FL . Hang in there -  the writer is creative in how she brings the OTP together each time in spite  of the slow burn romance .  The thread is still active . So come drop your thoughts if you do continue-  I am one of those still not done with the drama .

there will be a time jump after that ( several in fact)

@nrllee hahaha. You think I didn't know any of this I have worked as a intern in one of the most busiest govt hospitals in the country. And I attended my pedo postings right during the summer holidays, so it was jam packed all the time. I was pretty sure my ear drums were busted while I was there. Lots and lots of screaming. Haha. I have experienced everything you have said and more, but it still didn't faze me.

And you are wrong if you think adult patients don't scream and throw tantrums. Apparently there are some adults who have not grown up and have the qualities of a 2 year old and it is our job to deal with them too. And trust me it's not cute. Lol. Once a patient just jerked on the chair and pushed my hand right when I was giving him LA and the needle went right through my glove into my finger. So there are risks no matter which age group they belong to. Kids are not that difficult to deal with once you adapt right child management techniques. We have a paper on child management and child psychology during our final year. Preventive dentistry is something that I believe will flourish in the future. But it's only my third and last option I would opt for it only if others didn't work out, which hopefully will not be case.

@triplem, I just have one question for you. When does Chocolate stop being just all about pain? I thought you said it was warming, but does it take half the drama episodes before there is ANY happiness?

I can’t remember. I think 3rd / 4th episode . Maybe because I hv a different view about death & pain , so I never found the drama  dark . Or maybe I am a sucker for pain, since I don’t mind angst despite complaining about it

I stopped watching at Ep4.  It was just blow after blow of tragedy with no breather.  I started to get really frustrated with the writer, “Come on!! Give them a break already?” .  And then it was set in a hospice??  So I thought...enough already...now just have that extend to the people around them?  So I gave up.

@kokodus  good for you.  At least you aren’t going into it with rose tinted glasses.   Good luck with your choice.

@Lmangla But at the same time as much as i calculate how much my parents wants me to stay but I am always stuck in between the idea of do i focus on my parents or myself to determine if i want to go overseas or not. So up till now i still can't get a definite answer as should I go or not. :)

that can be a tough decision but it depends. so which of the options is it?

1. a temporary move - you are studying and coming back. in that case, it is easy because it is just a few years..

2. don't know - in that case, things will decide once get closer to graduate and on the opportunities you get. that can be hard to predict because you never know what will happen. I graduated during a recession which means all my plans for myself went kaput.

3. most likely permanent -- in that case, you need to be at peace with whichever way you choose. if you choose to stay, then you need to be happy and content with the decision. years later, you don't want to be frustrated that you didn't live and explore your dreams. when that happens, everyone suffers and the family usually ends up in all sorts of trouble as everyone is irritated and annoyed with each other. if you decide to leave, then you need to be mentally prepared that you may not be able to be there physically for your parents at all times -- it is not a bad or good thing to be leaving the nest; simply a cycle of life and something most people do. moving somewhere else for better job conditions is natural part of the economy in most countries.

good luck and hope you figure it out!

@LSGLMH_88ok 5th ep is good. Mainly because Jiu Chen finally showed some form of human emotion. HE SMILED. I had to rewind a couple of times to make sure that he really smiled. He did!!!! I saw his lips curving upward. It was a smile. LOL. It takes a fluffy cute puppy to bring out that side of him.

@Sushimi Good luck to you too!!! I agree no matter where you go, only you can enrich yourself, the school and the surroundings can help you only so far. You have to have that determination and strength to move forward and make your life better.

@LSGLMH_88 Yeah tbh, I am still not very much interested. That is normal though especially for long dramas like these it takes some time. So until I get hooked, I am just going to watch one ep a day and ffd thru all the boring parts. Seriously you need to tell me what the deal is with that bald tattoo guy. I skipped thru all his parts. Are they demons or something? I have no idea. There is a abandoned kid in story now, is it Ling Xi?

I think @mouse007 is hibernating to watch all the eps at once maybe to not get spoiled?

Anyways..Busted 3 is coming to town! Woohoo! @thanie since you have Netflix you should consider watching variety shows too! Busted series for example have a story narration plus games and characters that are interactive. Ps. Some of our oppas are in it too! I love it! They are making a S3 soon! Yay!

@LSGLMH_88

I am only on episode 14, I won’t be MIA yet. It’s a 60 episodes drama, lots foundations needed to be lay....So far not much chemistry between the leads but the story is interesting so I keep going.

How I wish the production styled CC as a more handsome man...CC is good looking in a rugged  and manly way but his styling as JC made him looked like an unattractive old man and like LX’s old dad....Good thing  NiNi can pulled off THAT plastered hairstyle, cannot imagine other actress in it....

Dinni: I am already so very weak

Ira: Hyun Bin or Kim Jae Wook?

ME: Kim Jae Wook donggg.. Kim Jae wook sexy from his head to his toe HAHAHAHA. his gestures the way he touches the way he talks he is sexy in everything :kiss_wink:

Ira: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

@Sejabin, lucky for you to be in the circle of the same interest! I'm approaching my 4th year as a kdrama fan! Within that 4 years, I kept all those excitements and exhilarating "highs" to myself because I have no one to talk to. I won't be surprise if someone have caught me talking to myself :D

Year 2016, 85% of our office population was into kdrama ... I don't know what happened, most of them have moved on/healed from that viral "K" virus and I was left all alone.

@thanie helo2.. im emotional wreck, cos Chocolate ended :tears:. And I really really like the couple there..  so yeah.. haha.

I sound you, real life people especially in business setting, don't really like to discuss about drama. I don't like being accused as delusional or daydreamer in my real life. Thats why im here with all these fabulous ppl... including you... :joy:

 @Lawyerh, hugs, Dear!

tumblr_onmvglKkdS1rxrzu5o1_1280.gifvWithdrawal Syndrome is not a joke. I seriously suffered from it (for the first time) when Goblin ended. I really had the hard time accepting that fact that it was over and I won't see GY and LDW again . This is what I did to feel better:

I pretended to have amnesia and watched the whole series from Ep. 1 to 16, including the 2 special episodes hosted by LDW and YIN, liked all Goblin-related IG posts, re-watched Official MVs even the fanmade ones, joined Private Groups in FB (that's when I found out that I was not alone in the same predicament)

Doing all those made me feel better. I'm not sure if it works for you though...

... lol! I have to agree. Soompi is a cozy place for people like us, you know, double-life kind of thing

@thanie - Goblin is interesting drama indeed. The ending a bit abrupt for me, but not too bad.

I think I will follow @Ameera Ali's recipe, watch other Yoon Kye Sang work ... Eventhough i not too sure the OTP will have as firework chemistry or not...

Sure, you can do that. Whatever makes you feel better...  but if I were you, I wouldn't :D

Usually after the drama ended, the last thing I want is to see my OTP paired with another actor or actress. My shipping heart is not yet ready for it

@thanie I am Oppa driven usually so I don’t have that loyal to OTP , I enjoy oppa having all that chemistry with Whoever  it’s :joy: sometime I can ship oppa with two woman in the  same drama :naughty:
