@Wuzetian Sorry to hear about your balut experience. In Philippines, many people consider it their snack. To others, it's an exotic one. I eat balut but not the entire one. I only eat the soup and the egg part; I, too, feel sorry for the chick especially when I see their eyes. I want to post a picture of it, but maybe it's unpleasant to see.

Nah, there isn't one like that here. TBH, I find it ridiculous to use the school issued brown paper and then the self adhesive clear cover over it. The OC in me can't stand it if it's wrinkly. If it's really looking so bad like it's full of bubbles and wrinkles, instead of like it's smoothly laminated, I rip off the covers and do it all over again.

this sounds, challenging.. hahaha i have ocd and can't stand air bubbles trapped there.. if i use my fingernails to press it down, there are lines and i get annoyed!!

like what @BlackLotus1025 said, it's easier to use the ready made.. or those big rolls and u cut according to size and wrap (but this one, i hate the sharp corner folds).

That's the one available here. It's too darn sticky.

 

 

So I measure, mark, cut as per book dimensions, remove the film covering the sticky part, then smooth it over, hoping that there aren't bubbles or wrinkles. It can take as much as 15 min per book.

I am not really a fan of her, don't have a problem with her acting skills, but somehow I end up not watching her dramas. The only dramas I have watched by her are: "Tree with deep roots", "Six Flying Dragons" and "Run On". Other than them no other drama of her actually caught my attention. But I can say that she sure is a good actress having seen her perform in 3 dramas.

I agree. Hopefully, the ready ones can be available there so you don't have to spend time covering them. I hate it as well if there's something out of proportion in the books' or notebooks' cover.
