‘Romance Cells’ To Feature Jang Hyuk And Kim Woo Bin

Can an unemployed man find love with a famous star? That's the question the fantasy web-toon "Romance Cells" asked its readers. And since the cast for a web drama version of the same story includes Jang Hyuk and Kim Woo Bin, it's likely that fans will watch to find the answer.
"Romance Cells," also called "Love Cells" or "Dating DNA" is the story of Ma Dae Choong, an unemployed man who has had no luck at dating. He falls for a top star but has no idea how to date even an ordinary woman, so dating a star is an impossible situation. Park Seon Ho, who last appeared in the weekend drama "Golden Rainbow," plays the unemployed and dateless Ma Dae Choong.
Jang Hyuk, who last played chaebol Lee Gun in "Fated To Love You," plays Ma Dae Choong's quiet but charismatic next-door neighbor. He's a martial arts expert.
Kim Woo Bin's character is described as the "king of romance." It's a fitting title for the actor who won so many hearts with his roles in the dramas "The Heirs" and "School 2013." His character may be the opposite of Ma Dae Choong as he's a master at making women fall for him.
Also dispensing romantic advice in this web drama is a cat named Nevi. Kim Yoo Jung, also seen in "Golden Rainbow" and soon to be seen in "Secret Door," will play this fantastic feline mentor.
And Ma Dae Choong will need plenty of advice. Not only has he not had a date for nine years but he does not fall for just any woman. The woman of his dreams is the attractive and popular star Seo Rin, played by 4Minute's Nam Ji Hyun.
And Ma Dae Choong also faces some tough competition. Baek Sung Hyun plays Chun Ji Woon, a handsome idol, who is in love with Seo Rin. The multi-talented idol sings, acts and composes songs, making him more than a serious threat to Ma Dae Choong's dreams of dating Seo Rin. It is an impossible romance to begin with and the competition from Baek Sung Hyun does not help.Viewers may also benefit from the advice that Ma Dae Choong gets from everyone around him. According to the production team for "Love Cell," the web drama will offer dating stories that everyone can sympathize with.
The original web-toon was popular on the popular search portal Naver from 2010 to 2012.

Web drama Love Cells scores Jang Hyuk, Kim Woo-bin and more starsby javabeanslovecell1.jpg

Jang Hyuk and Kim Woo-bin, with Kim Yoo-jung to boot? That’s a pretty solid lineup for a web drama, but maybe that just means we’ll have to keep Love Cells on our radars.

Love Cells is based off a popular webtoon that ran from 2010 through 2012 on the portal site Naver, and is the “love story of turning the impossible possible” between an unemployed guy and a top star. I’m not familiar with the series, but it’s a fantasy romantic comedy that plays with the idea that you have certain “love cells” that affect your romantic success; the unemployed dude at the center of the story is named Dae-choong (which literally means sorta—as in, “Yeah, that’s sorta fine, whatever”) and his love cells are all dried up, hence his inability to date.

Dae-choong will be played by 21-year-old actor Park Sun-ho (Gold Rainbow), and he meets a cat (yes, a literal cat) named Nebi, to be played by Kim Yoo-jung, with the powers to revive dying love cells. (Yes I know, she’s a cat, I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. As far as I can tell there’s no mention of animation.) They decide to put him through a one-month-long prep course on how to turn him into a hottie with game, in order to win over the top star.

OMG you too?! I so want to see Woo Bin and Shin Hye to do a romcom drama together. He was the only guy PSH has so much chemistry with. They were fabulous, unlike LMH with his zero chemistry and boring character :(.

@‌marie67 I really like him since the Heirs and yeah, i shipped him with PSH although the writer of heirs made her character like a love sick to LMH character :(

When he rejected the offer for Pinochio, i guess we cant watch his project for this year.
